just finally mnped out from Umobile GX30 plan,.. really after 6 months is so unbearable, currently with yes 4G, coverages is confirm way better than u mobile in penang and in north south highway for sure,... speed wise GX30, mostly will get 0.5-1Mbps if u lucky, otherwise 0.5Mbps is avrages in everywhere,.. seems like umobile is congested due to many user or many bypass it with bomoh router for hotspot,.. and for bypass higher speed too,. hmmmmm

i agree with you, i just quit Umobile using in penang. Hail SKMM a report but granny stories goes on with umobile in the SKMM for a months+ then decided to port out. Barely usable during peak hours 6pm onwards.... 0.5 - 1mbps or less.

Apparently..UMobile is immune to SKMM...really blady fool as usually in the end consumer will port out.
UMobile damn smart playing this waiting game...

Someone should purchase UMobile plan and kaw kaw complain every week....so that SKMM will finally take notice.
UMobile is the asshole coverage ..some more dare to launch unlimited plan without considering upgrading their towers...

mine was network congestion and std reply "will improve but can't give a timeline" etc etc....

I believe high dense area will have problem. In my hometown (sub urban) will be ok and adequate usage of umobile...

in big city or high dense population area is a big no no

this is the second time i give umobile chances, but still umobile failed to deliver, either they are so crowded with user or their backhaul bandwidth to cell tower supply is shortages,.. either no matter what kind of plan is out in future, i confirm will not port back in,.. the only thing convenient is the cimb bank TAC code when port in to umobile nothing need to do, compare to other isp.. 0.5Mbps most of the time is not acceptable,.. mad.gif mad.gif mad.gif

Hi guys, i would like to know. I bought the gx30 and the hotspot is 3gb only. Is tethering gonna consume my hotspot data as well? Otherwise, is there any other solutions?

for prepaid validity extension, number will be become active till the (end of) following day. so for rm1, you can get up to 2 days of active period. rm1 is deducted from main balance, not from credit share balance. going to love umobile again.

you should consider checking the data speed during peak hours. I just quit umobile because of peak hour network congestion in penang.
