Actually me---owww made a careline call earlier regarding the 3G and H+ speed... during our discussion, the Careline Exec "highlighted" that 5G is coming this September and 3G will not be "emphasized" after 5G is implemented in "stages"... So, dunno true or not lah... that's why me ask here if any insider have clearer info...

If UM can implement the 5G (in stages of course...) starting this coming September, then, me will "legally abuse" the quota to try-cuba-tengok-test the FUP Limit (if there is 5G Unlimited Intro/Early Bird Promo lah...)

Hmmm... E5 = Very Easy... But ensure solve the problem ya. Else, complaint many times without proper action(s) later make Subscribers "not happy"... We pay for a service ... Rectify if the service is not "serviceable". Continuous Improvement is part of success...

Obviously after my post investigating the GX38, somebody had seen my post and "reported" to UM "Internal Department" to remove that "MB usage" meter recently.

Afraid of legal action(s) by Subscribers for throttling the speed in the future... Smart move UM...

As for VPN, me never use VPN becoz my investigation will be on "legally abuse usage" scenario. So, we need to play fair and square to know whether throttling is imposed even "legally abuse usage" taken in place...

BTDT... The weird part is it happened since September 2019 (from my observation...). Of course this "tragedy" is "isolated" for some unknown reasons... My hypothesis is that the "hand-shake" between cell towers is not properly configured...(?)

We can test this by not moving from one location to the other. The TAC will come through under LTE spectrum if static at one location/cell tower (provided the 1st successful TAC is under LTE). But once we move out to another location/cell tower, the TAC "most" probably cannot go through for some unknown reasons until we switch to HSPA spectrum or restart the device or turn on/off Airplane Mode. Me had opened "monthly" report/complaint to UM Careline but no "positive" outcome.

Me might be trying to see/test if MNP-o and MNP-i back to UM will solve this problem or not. Next 2 months (most probably), me will MNP from CUP35 back to GX38.

Happened to me since September 2019 leyyyy... Every month open report/case to Careline but no positive outcome...So, me abandoned this ship in the end...

The only solution for the time being is to switch to 3G/H+ before requesting the TAC/MSOS code... 100% will receive the TC/MSOS code in 3G/H+ spectrum...
