Guys would like to confirm after update and format samsung pay and selected apps not appear?

mine is still intact and can use, so i dunno why some people update gets removed

I would like to know that because i prefer to update then format. Thanks.

To those preorder note 8 and u want to change your batt for free, make sure your phone has mobo or screen/pixel burn prob they fix that with free batt replacement.

Pre order came with 1 year extended warranty.

battery is exluded from extended warranty.

It is but they will still replace your batt for free if u phone has other hardware prob like mobo or pixel defect.

according to my friend, is policy to change battery alongside screen replacement

just upgraded to Pie on yesterday after performed backup
today, did the below setup
1) choose "tap to display AOD" + Smart Alert
2) Turn on "reduce animations"
3) Turn on "full screen gestures" - it restrict the spay to be able to swipe open on first home screen
4) Reduce the size of Font for both One UI & in-app
5) Removed black theme and switch to default "dark mode"

The rest are still exploring..
After think twice, i chose not to use "screen on when lift" function

not always like that. 4 months ago i went to samsung service centre and tell them my phone battery drain fast and hinted them to change a battery for me. After they checked my phone, they only changed mobo which is in perfect condition...

Then u can try it at different sc. Try check for screen burn this time, it comes with free batt.

well, i extended my warranty on Nov 2018 but that's not included battery warranty.

Batt warranty is only 1 year. Of course by now u go to sc just to replace batt is no use and u have to pay for that. To by pass this u need additional hardware prob in your phone, they fix that plus replace u with a new batt free of charge.

not preorder my phone. Actually about a year ago my phone sensors not functioning, they changed mobo without changing battery.

no wonder last time they change a new battery for me when i claim my screen

Since the warranty is about to expire this year better make good use of it.

i dislike the screen always turn on whenever i pick up the phone but actually not to use it but just to put in pocket, move to another place, etc

I just off the option.
