Mine really is bad. Battery haven't last like it used to since the update. Battery drain fast, even though annoying, still can overcome and charge here and there. But phone gets warm while in use I really cannot tahan. Lol. It is noticeably warm even when browsing.

The last time I have these issues was earlier this year and they changed motherboard just before my warranty ends. Looks like I have to spend some time to factory reset.

If the symptom is not able to lock the GPS position..most likely mobo need to be changed.. same as my case..

Initial symptom is the gps sometime lock sometime dont.. or in the middle of navigation.. suddenly gps unable to locate you.. or gps lost connection..

After few months, the gps totally unable to lock anymore... send to Sunway Carnival SC.. they ask me to capture video during navigation using another phone as proof.. need to send to Penang Gateway SC.. and they have change the mobo for me under warranty.

Seems like note 8 gps sensor easily damage.. just a matter of time..

Ugh... Starting to worry about my phones GPS, since mine is AP set, without extended warranty like you guys of course 😓️😭️

When you connect your phone to bluetooth audio (headset/speaker etc), is there a notification which allows you to choose which audio output, either phone speaker or Bluetooth audio device?

Edit: Nvm, downloaded the corresponding app for the audio output notification.

After updating to pie, my gps and sensors are not working anymore. Is this firmware issue or hardware issue?

I got a new good lock app that's compatible with pie. Quite nice but the task changer still don't offer the recent window like in oreo. Well at least it's way better than pie stock recent imo.

Am not able to get the Task Changer, which Country you VPN to? BTW am using it on Note 9.

Im not using any vpn. I got this from a hades rom telegram update info and download it from there. Haven't tried any modules other than task changer because that's the only module I need. But pretty sure others will work as well. Uncompress the zip file and you will get all the apk files required.

TQVM got it installed.... Task Changer is the one as m looking for, others module I installed are Quick Star.

Is that possible with good lock apps? Because I did mine with systemui tuner app by zachareel, which requires root and adb command. I'm not sure if it's possible with adb only without root.

backup all your documents/picture/video.. try wipe all your cache and partition first..

if still occur.. most likely it's hardware issue.. many other forumers in here face the gps issue since oreo time.. including myself.. hopefully your warranty still available.. bcoz SC will change the mobo..

I made backups and did a factory reset, looks like its hardware issue. Unfortunately my warranty has expired..
Weird thing is everything was working fine before I pressed update.

yeah, it's mobo problem. Last time my sensors oso not functioning after an update, it's probably just a coincidence. Go SC and change the mobo
