So my trusty phone has succumbed to poor batter life.
Spoke to Samsung Chat support and was give the following quotation for battery replacement. The estimated cost for Note 8 battery replacement is RM163.30. Labour cost for the service that does not involved parts is RRP RM30. Labour cost for the service that involve parts for all water resistant and non-water resistance models varies from RRP RM60- RM85. Total approximately RM248.30 On Shopee and Lazada Note 8 Batteries are going for just RM30. Though I don't think those are genuine. Attached thumbnail(s)

Weekend do a round of spring clean and saw my Samsung Note 8 external casing cracked (the plastic hancur) and then the back plate pop out.
The battery bulge all of sudden as my last check was before CNY and everything still fine.  It does save me sometime to remove the battery now though since i no need heat gun the backplate  And the glue underneath the battery also detach easily. |
