Experienced this today.

Unable to lock my car using button at driver's door. Car gave off beep beep beep sound. Checked all doors and boot cover - all shut tight.

Sekali saw the engine was still running, because I forgot to switch off. Lol. The car engine and radiator fan are too quiet.
Can I complain to SC? tongue.gif

Agree car engine very quiet, same thing happen to me before too.

It's his funeral. I don't get why people think wagons look like coffin cars, when they drive like they are already in their coffins.

I admit I drive fast, and I have driven cars to the limits that I am comfortable with, sometimes until the steering starts to shake like an earthquake. But I always have one golden rule: I only drive as fast as I can steer and keep within my lane. Sure I can drive faster around bends by makan adjacent lanes like an ahbeng but thats not my style and its dangerous to other road users.

So yeah, I have driven fast in different cars when its safe and I never go over the limit of the car's capability that I'm comfortable with, and my perception is City can be driven up to 140~150kmph on straights, 130~140kmph around bends. The light steering & unfeeling brakes makes it tricky. Anything more, and you risk losing control, grip on the road, & serious accident. To go faster will have to get stiffer springs, lower ride height, anti-roll bars & braces, & fatter tyres (about 195).

If you have the invite, no harm installing it as its free for pilot users. Haven't tried it as the highways I have been traveling lately are Smarttag & TnG only.

So sorry for you bro. I think it may be due to they cheapen out on parts quality to reduce cost. If compare FL with pre-FL, can see the biggest cost cutting is crappier reverse camera & HU on FL. There could be hidden cost cutting as well like the suspension parts maybe. I hardly hear suspension problems on Pre-FL and couple of my friends pre-FL City didn't have these problems even though older than mine.

"replace the trunk opener spring". Can share more details of this?

Ya and also with the high demand during the no gst period they trying to save more cost and time and produce more to fulfil the demand.. but no choice because city looks nicer than vios

The trunk opener spring broken after 2 weeks i got my car.. when i was cleaning my car interior, then suddenly i hear a very loud explosion sound and my whole car shake.. it is just like someone put a firecracker in front of you.. then i check the car and found that the boot trunk is very heavy to lift up.. ask them to check during my 1000km service.. they told me the spring is broken already..

Omg...so sorry to hear that. Probably that is also the problem for my car who produce such noise. Difference is that mine is from the back, Cant believe it happens to a Honda. Even my old proton dont have such issue. Kept sending the car going back to SC is such a headache.

So, they are not going to charge you anything right since we all have 5 yrs warranty?

Yeah, since there are peoples facing these problems.. maybe you can mention to the service advisor and ask them to check more specific on the axle or lower arm.. ya my friend also said his perodua myvi doesnt face so many issues than his new crv..

Ya they never charge me any, but the spring cost around rm70 which stated on the receipt..

All under warranty, but the problem is if you're a working person, you need to take a day off to send the car in for checking, and then another day off to make the replacement. Habislah the annual leaves just to bring the car in for check and repair!

City can drive 180km/h without damaging engine.
*
I never did say that engine could be damaged driving at 180kmph, only that its ECU throttled at that speed. I did say that based on the car lightweight, bouncy suspension, light steering & skinny tyres, I only dare drive City to 150kmph. Anymore and i feel that risk of losing control is much higher.

I haven't decide yet. Still looking for owner feedback. But in my mind I was planning upgrade to 205/50R16 PS4 laugh.gif some say the rim can fit 205 without issue, some say not recommended due to rim width

if you upgrade to that tyre size but using the stock rims, you will have tyre wider than rims. Which will affect your handling performance...

Usually 16 & 17 inch tyre not that much difference in terms of price. Some might prefer to go straight to 17 as 17 will have more tyre choices compare to 16.
