my case the rpm jump from 800rpm to 1300rpm range during idle with aircond on.
Now even with aircond on and idle.. rpm in between 700rpm to 900rpm...

If ur car still under warranty, get it replace by Honda SC. If self-replace, you might void some kinda warranty, its at ur own cost, and you will need to pay money to spray the sensor cover.

what the hell is wrong with this car, barely one year.

mth 5, less than 4000km mileage, rear axle broke/spoilt. passing speed bump or any bumps with minimum speed have creaking noise from rear, send to SC and they replace, could not answer me why a brand new car have this issue.

mth10, 2 - 3 times car would'nt start. first we thought its the battery. replaced, and started. but happened again another 2 times. in the end, had to have the car towed. SC said normal issue, fuel pump. asked, did I pump shell 97? I said yes... they say, ha... this is common issue. compatibility issue with the fuel. WHAT the HECK???? what is HONDA doing? giving shitty parts in brand new CAR??? and worst part, the rear axle is acting up again..... really disappointing, macam la... we all like to be stranded?

* OH yea.., wanted to call HONDA Malaysia to complain, their hotline and support line all have a MCO message saying they are not working!!!!

come on, shell fuel issue? every car oso affected lo like that? cannot be blaming it on the fuel. And I specifically ask the tech last nite, then? this new car cannot use shell97? he says.. no. After change fuel pump, won't have this issue. So? same as my original question, WHAT THE HECK is wrong with honda delivering cars that has issue?

It’s not due to shell RON97 or any other petrol brands for that matter.

It’s due to the FUEL PUMP made from Denso brand manufactured in Indonesia is the main root cause of the infamous problem.
For cars batch late 2018 till now have this problem including the new myvi model.
Honda BRV late 2018 also got the same problem.

What Honda Malaysia did was to replace the fuel pump ordered directly from Japan.
Solved the problem.

My Honda city hybrid bought in April 2018 & Honda BRV bought in August 2017 been drinking Shell RON97 ONLY since day 1 i bought the cars.
No problem whatsoever with the fuel pump.

It could be either tank contamination (if station specific) or due to a bad batch of fuel. I have used Shell97 from way back then so I don't know why it can cause problems, perhaps due to EURO4M new formulation?

My SC have just called and said fuel pump replaced. Did not tell me what brand or type they replaced yet, but assured me that there wont be any problems with ron97 fuel anymore. So, fingers crossed they've replaced it with the one's made in Japan.

As for the rear axle issue, I am concerned as their official answer to me is no problem whatsoever with the replaced rear axle, they checked and "tighten" this and that. And asked me to try it and if the problem persists, "come back on the next service"... that last part is hard to take, now that I've thought about it. Maybe I was glad to finally have the car back and felt relieved that I didn't realized that I've just been fed another unsatisfactory answer to a different issue on the car. 

does Caltex 97 give the same issue ? im fan of Caltex fuel...LOL

City 2019 make still available @Rm9000 discount.
City 2020 make only comes with @Rm3000 discount. Still can demand so high meh even with falling sales and new model incoming? Or Honda MY still dreaming their City is the best value today?

Unsure. From MAA last data, it seems new Vios has robbed them a lot of car sales. Plus with MCO and plus incoming new model, I was expecting them to give minimum Rm5000 discount for 2020 make cars. Rm3000 discount is something they were offering since b4 MCO so i'm not sure what their thinking.

In my case, under description it was mentioned the following:
1.  "Strainer, Fuel" - RM75 Labor Price
2. Set F/Pump & L/N - RM277.50 Part Price

Under remark it says "Replace fuel pump repair kit" 

Means they only changed the filter?
I suppose there's chances of the same thing happening again?

From 8am till 3pm . Still got at least 12hours to go.

The battery tester cost around Rm100.can easily get it from lazada. Normally I will use it when I going to travel outstation.
