Is it possible to self-study for N5 and N4? I tried to find language learning centers and but I cant any in Setapak/Wangsa Maju area.
*
Nearest to Setapak will be the centre at Kompleks Mutiara - JLSM. Japan Foundation in MV also not that far off i think.

QUOTE(AweFace @ Jun 7 2019, 03:14 PM)
you dont have to take N5 in order to take N4 and so on?
*
Certainly not. However, will suggest you still sit for N5 before going N4 in order to experience the exam. You will find that time is tight when you sit for examination, and for you to be familiarize with the format as well.

Hi all. I recently found out a website regarding daily classes for JLPT purpose. Anyone is interested to join in? I'm looking for N3 friends. If there are any of your friends interested in this one, the class will be commencing on this 15th July.

I have visited ICLS Damansara and Subang to ask inquiries about it. For Subang, they require at least 4 students to start the class. Kindly ask around...

Here is the brochure I've found: http://www.icls.com.my/news/53/Intensive-J...ke---July-2019/

I have been a student at ICLS before till N4 and it's not bad. My other friends suggested this center at Sunway because it's also as good. Maybe you can check it out too.

Looks cool. Do you know which textbooks they are using right now? I'll be probably visiting there later. Thanks for the suggestion.
P/S: Ah, they're using the same textbook as ICLS. I've just seen their Facebook page.

Just went there. Their classes opened only based on the students' demand and the fees are calculated by private lesson basis.

I've only been to HelloTalk meetups, a mixture of language learners. Haven't been to other meetups so far.

Private lesson? What's the rate?

There's a lot other organisations/ centres you can contact:

There is no fixed schedule, the classes are based on students' flexibility. If students withdraw halfway during the classes it will be hard.

So many self learners around biggrin.gif

We can also use this thread to get clarification, advice, info etc including posting questions on anything one needs help with their lessons.
Hope that N1, N2 先輩たち can spare some time to answer/ reply.
Tricky question hahahaha lets just say I take my lessons when I'm already working. Haven't been very disciplined about my studies but I'll do the homework given and spend an hour or two in a week to read (via app, story books, online resources etc). Also trying to spend more time on learning Kanji. It's really getting tougher and increasingly confusing.

Planning to fix my self-study time especially over the weekend. And one method that helps in your study/ understanding (for those attending Japanese lessons), take 30min to go through the new chapter (that your teacher will be teaching in the next class) and you'll be more familiar with the topic during the class. Do one more revision after class. I like to stay back after class and do homework or some reading/ self study for an hour or two. Being at home, I tend to slack off and get distracted; so the centre is the best place for me to do studying.

On weekdays I sometimes tune in to NHK and listen to their news/ watch their programs. Doesn't matter if I don't fully understand what's happening, it'll at least help to get familiar with listening (hopefully) laugh.gif that's my method.

JLPT test is just around the corner! I'm also doing the same thing to brush up my listening skill, which is listen to NHK news. Hopefully it really helps.

Okay so all these action boils down to 他動詞、自動詞。Is there a 自動詞 for the opposite of 連れる?
