QUOTE(sweet_pez @ Feb 13 2019, 09:50 AM) Yes self-learning is very difficult. Other than good discipline, it also takes longer time trying to understand the basics and learning the grammar, particles etc. I'm actually struggling to bridge the gap between reading and speaking because i have been doing self learningFirst thing you'll need to do is stop writing or reading in romaji. It should be fully in Japanese and try to avoid writing the furigana on top of the kanji if possible. Try to remember the Kanji and practice writing through various free apps. Lastly, you may want to consider enrolling in an institution to help get you started on the basics. It's a great deal of help learning through a teacher. Hahahaha yes indeed, that's always the case. But don't give up, there'll always be such opportunity! Broaden your connection and network. Good to hear you're doing well! It's not easy but 頑張って! i usually can read visual novels, web novels at around 800-1k chars a minute, and newspapers at about 300-400. But once i try to go into speaking and comprehension, not being able to see the kanji itself is a huge disadvantage cuz so many words sounds the same lol. Im starting to watch anime with japanese subtitles to help a bit. But this gap is so hard to bridge. |

It is possible for N5 and N4 but you might need help for listening papers. You can take LRT/MRT from Wangsa Maju station and go to Fahrenheit88 Bkt Bintang for the ICLS school. They have weekday full time course and also weekend part time course. http://www.icls.com.my/ |

You can take whichever level you think you are competent with. Need not start from bottom.
