So many self learners around
We can also use this thread to get clarification, advice, info etc including posting questions on anything one needs help with their lessons.
Hope that N1, N2 先輩たち can spare some time to answer/ reply.
Tricky question hahahaha lets just say I take my lessons when I'm already working. Haven't been very disciplined about my studies but I'll do the homework given and spend an hour or two in a week to read (via app, story books, online resources etc). Also trying to spend more time on learning Kanji. It's really getting tougher and increasingly confusing.
Planning to fix my self-study time especially over the weekend. And one method that helps in your study/ understanding (for those attending Japanese lessons), take 30min to go through the new chapter (that your teacher will be teaching in the next class) and you'll be more familiar with the topic during the class. Do one more revision after class. I like to stay back after class and do homework or some reading/ self study for an hour or two. Being at home, I tend to slack off and get distracted; so the centre is the best place for me to do studying.
On weekdays I sometimes tune in to NHK and listen to their news/ watch their programs. Doesn't matter if I don't fully understand what's happening, it'll at least help to get familiar with listening (hopefully)
that's my method.
JLPT test is just around the corner! I'm also doing the same thing to brush up my listening skill, which is listen to NHK news. Hopefully it really helps. We can also use this thread to get clarification, advice, info etc including posting questions on anything one needs help with their lessons.
