Sir what’s the difference between y7000p in China with y530 in Malaysia. Seems like they have better cooling with lower price

It's Clevo P950HP6/HR. Has mediocre cooling just like most thin and light gaming/powerful laptops

Outdated model and still priced too high

For 1060 GPU, should I be getting 8th Generation Intel Core i5-8300H or i7-8750H?

Is there any major differences or setback if going for the cheaper 1?

Understand that generally 8750H is more easily heated as compared to 8300H.

If only gaming, 8300H is good enough, unless the games you play benefit heavily from more multi core performance

Which model you're looking at?

If i5-8300H, its between Raven and Lenovo Y530.

If i7-8750H, its between Onyx and Lenovo Y530.

My budget is 5-6k. Of course if not necessary, will go for whichever have more value for money.

Every model has their own pros and cons, however Onyx is in thin and light category, which means you'll experience higher fan noise+surface temps and slightly higher CPU+GPU temps while under load compared to other gaming laptops with more cooling room and proper cooling

There are many other good options as well, check my laptop list

Give a range on these

Also, any preference on display quality and display size?

I am eyeing on Huawei Matebook D RM3k. Any other brand with similar spec and Price? I saw Dell Vistro 15 with similar specs, but Rm250 more expensive.

Why only look at brand and spec

Preferred max weight in kg, display size and min battery life in hours? Usage? Any special requirements

Those not so important for me (Weight/Battery Life/Display Size). I only look at

Processor - 8th Gen I5 (8250U) - Dont mind AMD if can save a few hundred.
Memory - 8Gb (LPDDR3/DDR4)
Storage - 256GB SSD (Must be SSD)
Screen - 14Inch
Graphic - Intel 620

My application is for general purpose, not for gaming or graphic processing. I know lower specs can support what I want, but I want to squeeze best performance for $ to make this machine last as long as possible.

You can get a cheap yet decent Lenovo Ideapad 320s/330s 14, just need RAM+SSD upgrades.
Acer Swift 3 SF314-54 with RAM upgrade, however the included SSD is only 128GB
Try to find Lenovo Yoga 520 (i5-8250U) with RAM upgrade

If you don't mind weaker battery life, HP Pavilion 14 ce0082/83tx +RAM and Dell 7472 (DFO) also good

Need good sRGB display? Mind non-upgradable RAM?

max weight : 1.5kg
min battery life: perhaps 6 hours
display: as long as decent
ram: don't mind if can't be upgraded but need to have at least 16gb

Your requirements are a bit tricky but there you go:
Lenovo Thinkpad L380 - i5-8250U, FHD IPS, 8+8GB RAM, 256GB SSD, 65W adapter
Acer Swift 3 SF314-55G-547H +RAM
