Hi Fong, as long as can support medium setting graphic gaming I'm fine. Weight around 2kg. Battery life as long as it's decent. As long as compatible with 15.6" will do.

My main concerns are the cooling system, quiet processor, light and thin.

Any recommendations on laptop with rm4k budget?
For university use (engineering, CAD and simulations), graphics design & photo editing, light gaming (overwatch)
Screen size maximum 15.6, weight doesn't matter, good battery life a plus

For your usage and requirements, this is the most suitable one
For other options, refer to my laptop list

I mainly play steam game like Dota 2, CS Go, overcooked as well as Black Desert Online (required a lot of AFK).
Without heavy gaming, around 5 hours battery life will do.

Im currently using Lenovo Y410p which bought 2 years back. It was kinda bulky, noisy and can't support high graphic setting. Considering Lenovo Y530 or Illegear Onyx, just not sure what specs should I be choosing.

Onyx also good but it runs a bit hot under load due to thin profile

It's Clevo P950HP6/HR. Has mediocre cooling just like most thin and light gaming/powerful laptops

Outdated model and still priced too high
