Lenovo Yoga 530/520 (i5-8250U) - only 1 RAM slot
HP Pavilion x360 14 cd0036tx - small battery

Upgrade RAM/storage by your own if not enough

There aren't many 2 in 1 with dGPU. Is 2 in 1 a must?
*
Tablet mode will be used to view plans on site. Company prefer to get 2 in 1 than separate tablet. Currently using 4 years old traditional laptop with i3, 4GB with some low spec Nvidia GPU...
The requirements I listed are just best case scenario ... If it doesn't have GPU power to run the software, I can opt use the office workstation remotely.

I'll check out the laptop you suggested biggrin.gif
Thanks!

Hi.

Definitely cooling is a must because lots of video rendering and partial gaming

A high sRGB display is always good. Might invest in a good monitor in the future tho.

Thanks.

Quality - depends on model, all laptops I recommend has at least acceptable exterior build quality, can't comment of QC since it heavily depends on luck and usage too
Service - quite good from what I heard, only thing is no onsite

1. Budget : RM1.5k-RM2k
2. Usage : Just browsing internet, stream videos, email, facebook
3. Requirements (display size, battery life, weight etc) : Since my requirements aren't too heavy, I'm thinking of a lighter weight laptop. Preferably i5 with 8gb ram for multitasking. Display size ~15". If can get SSD drive as well would be great.

Your budget is low for your requirements, can bump up more?

Require suggestions for buying new laptop,

Purpose : to watch movies , basic office work and playing games. Games that I have played such as fifa, call of duty,GTA and mostly first man shooter games. Most of the time I am at sea and my only entertainment is my laptop by watching movies and playing game.

My budget around 5 to 7k
My previous laptop was with me for 10yrs and looking for a long term usage.

So far I have checked out ASUS TUF and MSI any other suggestions.kindly advise.

1. Budget : <RM2k
2. Usage : Light internet use, youtube, etc, nothing intensive.
3. Requirements (display size, battery life, weight etc) : Ultrabook, light and easy to carry around, screen resolution 1080p if possible, will upgrade to SSD after getting laptop so HDD must not be soldered. Need not 2-in-1. Screen size can be anything from 12 - 15.5
