You can try adjusting the saturation in the Intel graphics control panel if the color looks dull to you...

At least that fixed my problem on my Dell G3 with low SRGB IPS panel...

Really cant tahan the color before adjusting it... youtube logo red color become maroon color wth hahaha

Yeah sounds very fishy to me. Hopefully it's the right model and it doesn't have any damage

If you don't mind the 7th gen i7, extra weight and low sRGB display. Also has potential bad stock paste issue

What about your personal opinion if you got to choose between two and if the deal is real? Which one the most value for money in a long run?

I don't really have specific requirement for laptop, as I don't really do gaming much in recent years, as long it's fast and no lag, should be good for me.

My last laptop was Asus Zenbook 3 Deluxe come with i7 7th gen, 16gb ram and 512gb ssd, and there are occasional lag and get hot pretty easily too.

1060 is way better than 1050 and about 50% better than 1050TI

If you don't game much, better get regular laptop or Ultrabook

You can get Thinkpads like A485, E485 if you don't game much. Solid keyboard.
Not sure these models are eligible for 15% student discount or not

yeah, idk if I'll be gaming or not in future. having option to play on not is an advantage, so graphic card needed too. will check both model if budget allowed.

Hmm, ZM, what do you think of the Lenovo's warranty? Is it good?

And is their 500nits qhd hdr screen better than the 4k screen on xps13?
I'm stuck between the 2

From my experience, not bad. Carry in and onsite are good. It really depends on luck and location

You mean which model with HDR? UHD panel in XPS 13 has really slow response times. Excellent overall colour quality though.
