Yes

1. Go for FHD IPS panel
2. If you don't need bulk storage, go for 256GB SSD. If yes, 500GB HDD+128GB SSD
3. Go for R5/R7 APU. Basically difference is iGPU
4. No need W10 Pro
5. Choose 65W adapter

Remember choose dual channel memory and bigger battery. Also, tick all the RM1 upgrades

If you need other stuffs like backlit keyboard, fingerprint reader etc, remember to add them too

Hi Sifu, is A485 worth getting compared to T480? Lenovo MY has a "NIGHT" coupon that offsets RM600 too.

Also will lenovo install the OS in the first hard drive or second hard drive?

Sifus,

Thinkpad. If I want a i5-8250, 16gb, FHD (or WQHD), for both hardiness and sexiness which model should I aim for. Budget 4-5k. May top up to increase sexiness.

A485 vs E485 vs T480 vs T480s

Acer Swift 3 14 SF314-54G with RAM upgrade
Acer Swift 3 15 with MX150, soldered RAM

HP Pavilion 14 ce0082/83tx with RAM upgrade
HP Pavilion x360 14 cd0036tx with RAM upgrade

Excellent overall, only thing is the dGPU model results in bad cooling and only x2 PCI lanes TB3. Stick with iGPU model if possible

Thanks I think the one on offer is iGPU + i5 model.

Really undecided between Huawei Matebook X Pro and Thinkpad A485 lol
