I bought during the tax holiday month.
Not sure if the price got increase or not.

Just simply use the lenovo on site chat, and tell them you are student.
They sent me the code after i gave them my student uni email.

No lah, you can still get it.
I checked just now my specs now RM4049.
With 15% student discount can get 3.4k.
Dont choose the i7 one.

*i bought mine 3.4k not 3.3k sorry.

2. Usage : Gaming(mainly Dota 2, if the laptop can play newer titles would be nice too) & programming.

3. Requirements (display size, battery life, weight etc) :
- The optimal display size I want would be 15" or more, but 14" is fine too.
- Battery life doesn't matter to me.
- Weight doesn't matter.
- Probably any brands besides acer ?

helo all, im looking for a new laptop with specs as follows,

1. Budget : <rm6500
2. Usage : work and mid-end gaming, gtx1060 (MHW, FFXIV etc)
3. Requirements (display size, battery life, weight etc) :
- 15.6" with thin bezel (really want a compact size)
- weight preferably under 2.4kg
- dont really bother about 60/144hz screen
- quiet keyboard (i dont need mechanical)
- battery size no matter (plugged most of the time)

been looking at illegear Onyx, Asus Strix II but both have some little here and there issue like Bios thingy etc.

i am not really good at IT stuff so would appreciate a good aftersales service...
