If you want this:
"must be able to access 2.5" drive mount easily (e.g. via dedicated maintence panel)"
Then your options are very limited
*
If I don't new access to a 2.5" drive mount easily, what are the options?

An accessible M.2 drive is a different story.

An acer spin 5 8250u with an iGPU can last 2-5 hours.
A thinkpad e585 2500u only last 1.5-3 hours but it can play a few AAA at 720p. Not to mention plenty room for upgrades. Alternatively an A485 can last a bit longer with a 9cell battery which is an option

These are all sub 4k.

Swift 3 got many variants...you mean which one?

Swift 5 (SF514-52T) has some issues (dim display, OKish battery life, poor CPU performance), only get it if you don't mind those issues

What do you mean by 2019 model?

Yes, I think 8hr is good. I'm not quite comfortable with Acer. Any other recommendations?

Buy model not brand

If you need touchscreen: Acer Spin 5 SP513-52N-58QD

If don't need:
Lenovo Ideapad 720s 13 Intel 81BV000BMJ / CMJ
Lenovo Yoga 730 13
Asus Zenbook UX331U-NEG103T, UX331U-ALEG032T/033T, UX331F-ALEG010T
HP Envy 13-AH1027TX / 13-AH0041TX

Mind low sRGB display?

Hi, I'm looking for thin and light ultrabook with 14-ish screen. Been using Zenbook 3 Deluxe before, and am looking for something similar in term of build quality and size. A bit thicker would be ok.

My requirement would be
Proc : i7 7th gen above
Ram : at least 8gb, 16gb is recommended
SSD : 500gb at least
GPU : Intel GPU would be enough
Battery : 6hours above
Cooling system : good
Screen 13-14 inch
Keyboard : great typing experience
Budget : about 3.5k or so
Condition : new or used is ok as long got warranty
Touch screen : no need, if have would be bonus

In between several model
HP Envy, Lenovo 720s, Matebook D, Lenovo Yoga 720, or Asus Zenbook 14.

Hello, can someone help me, between these two MSI GL63 8SE rtx(myr5.4k) and MSI GP63 8RE 299MY(myr4.5k) which one is recommended? Will be use for gaming, movies, and can handle multi tasking.

Or is there a better option than those two?
My budget is around 5k.

Thank you!

You asked a lot of recommendations here

Preferred max weight in kg/lbs? Mind low sRGB display? Mind non-upgradable RAM?

For typing experience, I suggest you to try out the keyboard in hand since everyone has different keyboard feel
