Anyway, wanted to know, would you guys use a custom made wheel for your gerbils? If you guys visit Mr. Z's thread, the wheel for hedgehogs.... he is now asking for a smaller size for gerbils if we want loh.

For the mesh wheel.... see if can get or not from supplier.... I think if we all get 2, we would have enough demand for the supplier(Super Pet) to bring in..... I saw their catalog when jtl showed me..... nice lah that wheel.... really hope can bring in but if tak jadi, I think next best thing is the wheel we can get locally.

wa...playing human shield ka now..hehehe...btw there is no pic for the rodent wheel in mr.z's thread....but now he is selling the hedgie wheel...is it ok for gerbils eh?? thought getting one for my gerbils...let them workout...hehehe...or not makan n tido only...

Oh, it is not the hedgie wheel... that is 11 inches.... wanna get the 9 inch one loh. Coz now Mr.Z discussing with the supplier, see they can custom make or not. I went yesterday with him, hahah.... the supplier kept making weird faces, kept saying get the normal wheel better lah, why need so mah fan? But we explain loh, the legs can feel hurt if it gets inside the hole....

We ask for the mesh, she said too soft, cannot make wheel pulak, then said maybe can use the chicken mesh cage bars coz hard, I saw loh.... the hole still big enough for the leg to go in and can cause more damage than the normal wheel.

See how lah, now supplier discussing with the wheel manufacturer and see loh.

hey hey, back in the talk... last few days quite busy coz 2 days got exam on morning... so not at home lo
hmm... the mesh i getting to get is too soft, so later might add normal wire on the outer part to enforce the wheels...
now still on the detail diy part, hehe...
later finish up the prototype then i will post it up

Hehe..... Just back to Penang, reporting in as a new gerbil owner now biggrin.gif

Yesterday met Hun, she is a nice person. Thanks for everything and sorry for the troubles. Actually having some trouble to find her house. tongue.gif

Now preparing their new 2 feet tank. biggrin.gif

Went to one of the pet shop in Penang, Toby Pet Shop. I was relieved that they sell Prestige but their Prestige Hamster is out of stock..... And they sell timothy hay too.... Now I can get my stocks here biggrin.gif YAY!!! What a relieve...

As for pictures, i left my camera at KL cry.gif Will ask my bro to send me the pictures i took yesterday. Will upload it here as i get my hands on it.

Haha.... Just finish putting them into the big tank. Still thinking a way to burn a hole on the tank.

And i notice that when i feed them the water using Critter Canteen, them can't seems to get the water out. Maybe it is caused by the spring?

Yah... they would need to adjust.... well, Baxter have been taking water from Critter Canteen coz his parent's tank got 1.... but when I put him in a new tank to intro with Pringles, I used a small Habitrail bottle.

Don't worry, it would need some getting used to. Also, it would help if you keep touching the metal ball and push it often so the water will flow it easily. Coz normally when new, it is a bit difficult for the water to come out at 1st....
