No that I'm against you to breed, try to enjoy your teenager's life when you're still free and energetic. Use the money for traveling or get some cool gadgets, and once you get a stable job or start a family and settle down, then only you consider breeding. By then you should already equip yourself with all the knowledges needed. Enjoy your life now rather being tied up by pets which make you go nowhere other than staying at home taking care of them.

It's just my sincere advise, hope you know what you are doing and don't end up regretting.

I cant enjoy much in Nilai lol. Basically all trees around with no animals. Not even maqaque. I think i'm gonna go catch an armordillo and rare.

Foo and Hun, How many tanks you guys using to breed? Enlighten me.. I'm curious.

duh...my blackie likes to wonder around when everyone is eating? anyone experiences gerbils which does not like to eat?

you know when I was still breeding, I got my 1st pair of gerbils and 6 months later I already got 5 tanks of gerbils. With that I manage to produce about 6 colors. Good luck to you if u wanted to produce all available colors,lol ...

What time you feed your gerbils? Blackie puasa during that period izzit?

I got 2 tanks and I have 5 colours

now i got 4 tanks and 8 colors la, those i mention jus now was those colors born in my house,lol... can colect more colors but frankly I think I have enough gerbils now. The stress of introducing new ones to each other will kill me, lol... totally i owned 9 types of colors before, some gerbils have passed on since then.

I have 11 gerbils lor... adi reduce a lot since last time , haha .... ya, babymoli wins the awards,lol ....
my gerbils like kings few live in a tank only. Its because I dont think the 2 main clans will get along, hahaha... most of them are girls.

Waaaa... so many colours, you breed them to get so many colours?

Siao... If i breed them to get that 14 colors. I might end up even worst than Foo. All i got from Foo.

1) think of other than colors, what u want to produce? a good n well feed animals? or just a normal animal? or a skinny animal with bad future health?

2) how much u willing to spend on them? to give pariah food? or quality food with supplemen? bedding? toy?

3) how much time u willling to spend on them to tame them? or u want ur animal like sakai? washing all the tanksssss? wipe all the tanks? sun the toy n wash the toy? adding water for their bottle everyday?

4) how much u hv study their gene?

5) how much spacce u hv? 1 breeding pair will end up with 2 - 3 tanks. if u hv 2 breeding pair, u will end up 4 - 6 tanks... and so on... to acheive 1 color u need at least 2 pair with 2 - 3 generation of it. IF only u pair them right.

6) they hv the life spend of 3- 5 yrs. will u be able to be here with them in the future 5 yrs time?

I start with 4 pairs. now i hv 16 tanks of them. with around 40 of them. i spend $180 on them WEEKLY, and cleanning the tanks daily to take turn. no more TV, no more laying lazy on the sofa. sit n tame them till the last min b4 u close ur eye to bed. think it carefully b4 u step on it.

if u r really responsible n doing REAL good on it! i am more than happy for that. i can retired!!!

Lol. Probably no breeding then. Don't undestand their genes yet. If someone can explain it in a programming term rather than bio terms than it will be much easier
