Lil bit should have no problem, as long is not very serious. If have bleeding nose problem, then you need to check on your own what cause them to have it. We can't tell you exactly. May be bedding, or like my case coconut shell.

Bungee will get bleeding nose if i put in the coconut shell lar. Don't know is it the coconut smell cause him like this. Others will have minor bleeding nose.

Put a large back of activated Charcoal on top of the tank, it may absorb the smell.

no swollen. I wipe with tissue and got blood stain. I thought they were mites, so I check on every gerbil and found that the sp black also got some red spots around the neck but no fur loss. Just very very normal. Do I need to seperate the black into a hospital tank?

sorry hao, i use my cheap phone take one. blush.gif

mites doesnt cause wounds like that suddenly, more likely your gerbil injured itself. You can use iodine for the wound and monitor he gerbils to make sure they are not fighting.

He might get himself injured with that aroma burner. Bungee got himself injured last time at his eye's part. So you might need to check on the aroma burner see whether there's hole that can stuck him.

And oso the wooden house. If the gerbils chewed the small wooden bar which is just in front of the entrance of the wooden house, there'll be sharp wires popping out from it. Be careful with that.

yes use ur finger go throught all the toy see if any sharp thing, or u check if the sp black n black get along well? if get along means not fighting them much se toy, remove all the toy till he ok, then add in 1 by 1
see if any og the toy injurt them again.
