How did he loose his leg?

Oh, now this is just rather weird. I had a nightmare early this morning that my rabbit died and my family burried it without telling me, and I was really sad about it. Later on at dinner time I told my mum my dream, then she said this morning she dreamt my gerbil died. We were like wah, what a coincidence, dreaming of dead pets, then we laughed it off. After that my dad told me dont get so attached to your pets, coz all will die someday.

I got home. Sat down in front of my pc..then I glanced to my left, at my gerbil tank.

Daryl was in sleeping position, very motionless. I took a closer look and my heart sank. He was dead. This is super weird, he died just like Keith. No wounds, no sickness, just like that. he's just around 1 year old only.

My only guess is the rusty wire that hangs their bottle to the roof. Keith and his sons just love to chew on it. Maybe kena poisoned by the rust. I just repalced it. Hope the others will be fine.

i never put straw in bedding b4 this liter, i only use hay. and found there is something tied teh boy leg, and an toher pup's leg.  so that how teh boy lose his leg. so after that, i don't put straw again.
oh dear. so sorry jas. so better make sure the wier not rusty or else hang the bottle outside.

I think that straw she mentioned should be the russel bedding. So far mine ok la with that, could have been coincidence with her pups, but hard to say sometimes la

Ohh... maybe just luck....

Anyway, my 4 gerbils that were fostered by my rat have been separated and I have introduced them to 2 adult gerbils.... they felt weird and unsure, kept stoning but later all is well.

Waa.. Juz now I play2 n carry2 my gerbils sumore....
Den i heard some noice.... 
I look closely again... Waaa.. Got 4 baby gerbils.....
N they 2 of them a scattered around the cage...Is it ok..? Or do i need to put them together?
First time leh.... Izzit ok ar if i terkacau the parents.. Huhu..
They wont eat the babies?   
Advise needed on how to take care of the babies...

Ah.. Dem it.. 1 baby juz died.. Looks like it is been bitten at the back... But the baby that died looks smaller compared 2 the other 3 living babies...

now the pied nutmeg still orange so canot see the pied clearly, wait the ticking come will be more clear. now can see there is colar, but how 'clean' is the colar not sure yet.
