i think the hardware is basically identical.  just the software region code. 

the first time setup  the page is in chinese wording.  however.  i just change to english language and update to latest firmware from asus global website.

is the convert process easy? how long should wait? currently my package 50mbps Rm179. I think wanna convert to 100mbps rm129 rather than wait for turbo. Maxis just call me to offer their package, can be done by next week...tempting but dont know hows their connection one 

Yeah, these days I also lazy to buy from Taobao unless I have visitors from China or colleagues from KL go to China, then will help me to bring back stuff.

Unless necessary, I will just grab from local online sites which are from Taobao eventually.

I didn't ask much since the CS told me the RM89 no longer available, and if my parent are going to pay RM119 for 30MB, I rather ask them to go for the RM129 for 100MB...

Anyway, I will try to ask from my friend regarding his RM89 for 30MB, but I doubt he could show me his account, cause he is not good with IT~

yeah.  recently upgraded my router to ac88u. 

however,  still need to reposition it  to improve wifi coverage.  currently my back garden and bedroom upstairs at the back of the house  wifi still not very good.

only manage to get max 10mbps at back garden.

Just got turbo from VIP10 plan,  10 to 100Mbps yesterday.

I was given Aneka+ Pack and unifi playTV Plan A. Both are FOC as part of the upgrade. Do you guys get it as part of the turbo upgrade?

My sis unifi account (unifi lite 10mpbs RM119 - about 3years) was transfer the ownership to me.
During applying Transfer of ownership, I was mention upgrade to RM129 100mbps.
Now everything is done. But question is I unable to get new modem & router from them?
I asked from live chat, the staff told me is for existing customer. it is unfair?
And they charge me for advance payment, was unifi billing charges is advance? - unifi staff said telco always charge advance.

I went to tmpoint but useless also, the staff told me unable to check, they just a dealer.
so many tmpoint cant check. must go to selected branch.
Now unifi make so difficult for customers. 

guys i already check via unifi website about coverage in my area and the last house that has the coverage is like 100+ meters away from my house. Is it still possible for me to also get unifi since i heard that TM can tarik cable thing. thank you.

A question - I went to TMPoint today to change my plan to the 100mbps - RM129 package (currently on 50mbps)

The guy told me that my apartment is still using copper wiring, and as such its not able to accommodate 100mbps speeds. He told me he will change my existing plan, so that I will pay RM129 (lower than what I'm paying now) for my current speed (50mbps).

Is this normal?

Just informed by TM CS that all turbo upgrade will be completed by end of Jan 2019

Thanks, I tried but the best he could give me was rm 119 at 30mbps and there's a quota.

I find it weird as there is time broadband in my building but the guy says that my building is still using copper? (find that switching to time is too much hassle, as they will pull the cable into my apartment)

Yeah I know, but the main thing I dislike about time is they need to pull in the cable into your apartment, not very nice aesthetically, even if you do trunking

Yes it was a discounted account at RM119(exclude tax), waiting for their call now to see if it was possible to upgrade to be sure before deciding if I want to terminate it. Wasn't really sure on their operating procedure when it comes to self-upgrade.

i have 2 Unifi acc and both is copper line
- unifi 30mbps (high rise) RM129/month
- unifi Lite 10mbps (landed under SUBB) RM129/month

and i saw official unifi website package is 30 mbps for RM79/mth and 100mbps for rm129

since both my acc do not have unifi fiber coverage and thus may i know can i change both to the 30mbps of RM79/mth package.

is it possible and allowable? also the cap of 60gb quota applicable now?
