QUOTE(cskean @ Oct 25 2018, 08:01 PM)
RM159 was for 50MB, I opted for the RYE upgraded to 100MB with RM10 topup...

Before the TM staff hang up their call, I ask them regarding the pricing. According to them, it is supposed to remain same price after the turbo. I have some kind of feeling that TM will screw up my billing again. This happened before during my 50MB to 100MB upgrade. I was charge full price of RM3++ for 100MB back then for 2 months, which result I have to walk into TM Point for few times to settle the billing.

RM 169 for 800Mbps is considered good deal. Today TM already started upgrading some RYE 100 users to 500Mbps. doh.gif Consider yourself lucky on this. biggrin.gif

There will probably be other packages or offers before the 2 years is up.

QUOTE(rhytion @ Oct 25 2018, 06:59 PM)
I don't think you have anything to worry, I'm too on the Bonanza Campaign for 30Mbps previously, and I also got upgraded today to 300Mbps too. The RM60 discount for 24 months remain in my account, same as what it previously is.
*
Agreed. I guess there will be different packages or rates offered by TM by then

QUOTE(solarmystic @ Oct 25 2018, 07:40 PM)
Dayum, you hit the motherlode of turbos mate.

Most people on the bonanza plan who subscribed in 2018 itself will never see turbo until next year at the earliest, according to the TMPoint person I spoke to when I first applied for the Unifi 30M/RM139 Bonanza Package in July 2018.

This was in fact one of the reasons why I downgraded to 100M/RM129 in September the first opportunity I got. Didn't wanna pay extra for something I wasn't sure I was gonna get.
*
Lol. 2 things I did include in my complain to MCMC:
1. My account is eligible for turbo upgrade within this year (it was a bluff since I didn't have the chance to check the eligibility on the said website as per my previous post)
2. No one in Sandakan got the turbo upgrade yet so kind of unfair practice for TM to only favor those in big cities (I don't even know if it's true or not since I didn't see anyone here from Sandakan stating their account have been turbo'ed, but I just use the excuse anyway)

After all, might be coincidental since quite a few got the upgrade today.

I've terminated my autopay on 19/10, but why my card was still charged today?

Usually how long does the termination of Autopay take place? or how should I check whether it is terminated?

Tried to live chat by dropped line several times.

advanced, network, internet, ipv4, advanced, DNS Address --> change this one too. Meanwhile, please set connection mode to 'on demand'.

Don't forget to change your IPV6 DNS as well.

Reboot is mandatory.

Just curious. I'm assuming you want view blocked site or something. Do you view it mainly on your PC?

Then, maybe try Control Panel -> Network and Sharing Center -> Change adapter setting [on the left] -> Right click on your LAN Connection and choose properties -> Double-click "Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) -> Select "Use the following DNS addresses" and enter the DNS address.

Then, probably try resetting as the previous user suggested.

I'm using the method I described on my PC and laptop. The router settings all default, Archer C1200.

I noticed you also asked about torrents. I download using my Raspberry Pi, default setting, no problem, I get the full speed that i set. My connection is 30Mbps, I limit the DL speed to 2.8 MBps.

I used to have RM 50 special discount but reduced to RM 10 after Turbo-ed.
So now your discount is RM 70 in total.

Yesterday went to TM Point CBJ around 5pm and changed my package from 30Mbps (RYE 2017 - RM139) to 100Mbps (RM129).
The staff mentioned all my existing equipment entitled one year warranty + free 600 minutes call (STD20) + two years contract + pro-rated billing , I'm okay with it. cool2.gif

To my surprise, by the time I reached home an hour after left TM Point, my Unifi speed already changed to 100Mbps! shocking.gif shocking.gif
Wow... so efficient meh? sweat.gif sweat.gif sweat.gif
