Don't quite recollect Malaysia having pre-order a week earlier through the Apple website like this before. Even for the iPhones.

In a dilemma now whether to camp and just pre-order online on the dot pre-order starts or queue on release date itself.

How long will Apple SG reserve the items purchased online in order for you to pick up at the store? Can claim GST from the airport later?

u won't regret...Stainless Steel looks stunning and the Saphire Glass is amazingly durable. I think it is as scratch proof as those Rolex. My Series 0 has zero scratches. Not even hairline... thumbup.gif

I am new to Apple Watch, I just learn how much nicer Stainless steel than Aluminum. I would love to own the SS model which has to try to get in Changi, however, knowing the fact I like the latest hardware and will change year to year, anyone know if AW used can be sold with not a bad price in Malaysia? I think SS model will be even harder knowing the fact it is not available in Malaysia shop for creating the awareness.

Any users can share the thought?

Saw someone posted SS AW3 at Facebook AW page for RM2k but no one response to that. Resale value might be low I guess.. since some folks might be worried they not easily getting the device repair in Malaysia authorised service centre since Malaysia officially don't have SS model.

SS version for the shining look and the so called sapphire crystal front. It has same hardware and software as the aluminum version.

If u think the extra price is worth it, then go for the SS, else just stay with the aluminum.

For used price, the consmetic condition of your watch determine the price u can ask for, people who buy a used ss watch would expect a near to perfect condition without scratches / paint drop / dent.

I have to disagree with you. Apple Watch is digital watch. There is never any value with digital watch. If you're talking about analog automatic watch then yes. Apple Watch? Even in perfect condition will have very low value.

My dilemma is I have a few mechanical watches, if I start my 1st Apple Watch, majority of them will be shelved however I also do research on mechanical watches forum on sale, think only very high end watches like Rolex(submariner) has 2nd hand value, the rest I don't even see any asking for sale.

Guess iPad and iPhone has the best resale value, Apple watch demand is still very low. Maybe AW4 may change that.

After been using AW4 since launch....I don’t feel the difference from my previous AW1...yes the speed is faster but the loudspeaker still poor, phone call on AW4 is still not recommended.

I'm still thinking weather to get AW4 or not. I'm a senior GM and mingle with other GM and Directors at work. Everyone is wearing classy mechanical watch like IWC, Rolex and Omega. If I wear AW I would look like a kid among them. Unless I wear it after office hours or weekend but it will be a waste. sweat.gif

What makes you think wearing an AW would make you look like a kid, is it because it's digital and so happen you stumbled upon the mickey themed watch face? There are other watch faces that can make the display look sophisticated.

Owning one could mean they are also into what the watch brings such as health tracking, make/receive calls and notification on the fly without even the need to have your phone next to you.

As C level i think you might opt for a decent looking strap to match the watch with, there are tons of options in the market.

Some people rather stay away from a smart watch simply because it's too complicated to operate. AW and premium brands such as IWC etc... are in a different play park.
