Dont think so. I think there's just not enough demand for it yet. :/ So far, only Maxis boasting it's eSIM feature only. cry.gif

..and only for a Huawei Watch at that smile.gif

Well, maybe now that the new iPhones have eSIM, it’s likely they may adopt it on a wider scale in the near future, just as how the iPhone 5 started the nano SIM trend

That’s the hope.
Waiting for this months’s malaysian launch to see what news on esim. If it’s not now, then most likely will be q1 2019.

On a side note, anyone using the Walkie Talkie feature on the new OS? Very snappy and fast communication with the second person.

Let's just hope. But I guess with the new iPhone Xs/Max, I think they will use the eSIM feature to test out Malaysian market first. If many are using eSIM, maybe telcos at then have more reasons to ask Apple to bring it in for Watch 5.

Just my 2 cents, I'm guessing that 14 October, Apple MY will annouce Xs & Watch availability and pre-order dates which are 19 (pre-order) & 26 (availability).

I don't know why Malaysia gets this so late, other countries already got it.

Probably coz our sales to Apple is insignificant? Maybe more Android users in Malaysia.

@harmeet15 is correct, You can't. Once confirmed MY is not getting stainless steel version (I want the sapphire crystal glass), I will order online and ship to my brother's house in SG.

Just me...I just don't get the point of having to put screen protector and casing on the watch.

I had a stainless steel Series 0, there isn't a single scratch on the screen. Totally don't mind the scratches on the stainless steel body as it adds character to the body (just like my 16 years old TAG Heuer, scratchless screen but seasoned body). And if i want to, I can easily "wipe" those scratches off (just check online). thumbup.gif

Hence I am so particular in getting the Stainless Steel. I wish Apple release Stainless Steel without LTE.... cry.gif

I agree 100% on this.
Just cleaned my Series 0 and it still looks amazing.
Aluminium watches do not have the same feeling i think.
It's ok to get the Lte model la bro. For now can use over wifi later on lets see what lte can do alone without the phone.

Aluminium can't clean. You will even scratch it more i think...hahaha...

And yes, will just go with the LTE model since there is no choice, although I have no plan to add another LTE plan to my Maxis plan even if the they gonna roll that out in MY.

I'll want to try the lte functions on the watch for some time and give it a go.
Also want to see how the battery holds up with the cellular on.
If the impact is nominal, will consider keeping lte on all the time.
