Isn't the price standard as per RRP as the retailer at Changi is an AASP?
*
QUOTE(yewfatt @ Sep 21 2018, 06:21 PM)
Changi got tax deduction about 5% gst.
*
I think if you buy at the retailer (iStudio) at Changi Airport itself, the phone is tax exempt so it's minus 7% directly

Yes. If you fly into Singapore, buy at the Apple Store and fly out, you can claim the GST refund, but it won't be the full 7%, there'll be a 1% to 2% processing fee charged. Where else if you buy from the airport, the item is already tax free.

I was told that only Space Gray is available tomorrow. If I still want Gold, I have to wait for the HK set on Tuesday. Since I will be outstation next week, I decided to go for Space Gray.

Why choose SG set over the HK set with the double nano SIM card phone ?
*
I've never used 2 SIMs in the past and I don't plan to use it in the future.

That's right, there's both the prices displayed. I converted and price was about the same as HK (minus the long queue too).

wow T&L gold is complete sold out, both 64gb and 256gb. why not silver since u already used grey before.

edit: yeah the gold is really classy this time. i always go for black/dark color when i buy a phone, even the last ipX i had was grey. this time i pick the gold without a doubt
*
I got the 3rd last unit in Gold. Upgrading from 6s Plus Gold Hehe.. Anyway, Shopback gave a RM100 cash back after I completed the transaction. So yeah, I think 11street gave a better deal now, as can also use Bcard points.

Unfortunately that's not how they calculate it.

Phone is SGD1799, but tax is SGD118, so it's 1799-118 = SGD1681, and given current rate of 3.02 = RM5076... Oh well, close enough smile.gif

Bear in mind though, if you swipe your credit card, the bank rates would be a different animal.
