99% of the seller ends with .my is china seller, and 99.99% of the time they wont even shopee chat reply yopu

is it still safe to buy things from .my seller with item shipped from oversea (very likely to be from china)?

i'm just worried item will not arrive here within the estimated time.

if u buy from shopee, then you got to follow their terms and conditions. instant cancel and refund only applicable within 1 hour of order and before seller press shipped within the 1 hour. anything after that is between the discussion between the seller and buyer. it is different from lazada whereby certain items can be cancelled as long as not shipped. not that i'm siding with anyone but the terms and conditions is already listed, all these will be use against you in any case. hopefully you have learnt something valuable from e-commerce after this.

as for the seller to ask u to accept order and then return and get refund, i would say it is a gamble. either you take the gamble or accept it because it was your mistake in the first place. u can try selling it off mudah/carousell/lowyat.

My advise is just reject the parcel and wait until return to seller for refund. gonna take quite a while since its china seller.

as i said, the terms and conditions for instant cancellation on shopee is within 1 hour of order. anything longer than that requires seller's approval. unethical i know, but if shopee strictly follows their terms and conditions then nothing you can do. what u can do is snapshot the chat between u and the seller that promises to ship out by so and so, and will refund if unable to do so. that may help sometimes.

Thanks for the link. Still think that unethical behavior not allowed in law even if under shopee TNC can only cancel within 1 hour of order.  Meantime, will just wait. No point discussing further as don't want to keep getting angry while waiting. BTW, are you an online seller or have affiliations (eg: as a seller/employee in Shopee or family members as seller/employee in Shopee)?

COD, free of charge, no need waste cash on expensive delivery, small items few bucks only shipping is more costly.

and nope, i'm not an online seller nor have any affiliations with Shopee. in fact, if u search my previous posts, i had succeeded in getting my refund from Shopee for one of the issues by going through kpdnhep. i read through the terms and conditions a few times to win my case, so i'm just sharing what i know.

if u can get all the terms and conditions to side u as i did previously, u will definitely get back ur refund. just a matter of time.

well, mine is different from your case. mine was shopee rejected my return under shopee mall 15 days return for no valid reason and even proceed to send the item back to me. i got so pissed off because the terms and conditions said i can. so after a few emails with the officer in charge, they refunded me the amount MINUS the shopee coins used and said i can keep the item. i insisted on the coins refund and shopee agreed to return the coins to me provided i send the item back to them. they will reimburse the shipping fee. but it's kinda stupid because the shipping fees of me sending the item back to them twice is already more than the cost of the item. but that's what they wanted. all these emails was cc to the kpdnhep representative.

as long as you can point out which terms and conditions that shopee or any ecommerce site violated, there's no reason not to win the case.
