Does shopee nerf all the coins in "check-in" ?

lmao the reaction on fb comments on shopee reducing coin giveouts are.......funny and sad at the same time.

Like ppl getting mad about garden releasing weird schedule for coin bags, or limiting daily shake to only sales period. They created a prison for themselves.

Shopee is just any big corp out fishing for money, and they play it like a parasitic relationship. They flash some goodies, get ppl hooked and addicted, and take it away when they're done with you. They'll repeat knowing ppl will fall for it again.

In short, the coin party's over..

On positive side, we spend lesser time on online shopping and lesser damage on our wallet

Game over. Shopee Farm only 5+10 coins daily.
Though I earn >100000 coins this year, I hardly spend on Shopee orders. More on ShopeePay/Spaylater offline transactions, eg Posonline, supermarkets (Everrise, Emart, Lepapa), 7-11, Guardian, FamilyMart (KL).
I buy a lot at Temu where I could get 90% Cashback (capped at RM170) 2 times a week.

Have to cut off "desire" now for next month & next year

My coins mainly for pay unifi and sesco bill

Time to check in on another platform.

Taobao desktop website is much better than Shoppe anyway.

ShopeePay App's check-in still give coins.

Taobao shipping doesn't really free T__T

Didn't know Temu is available for Malaysia. Cheaper than Taobao? Or expensive like Aliexpress when compared to Taobao?

Slightly more expensive than Lazada / Shopee.
But much cheaper if you learn how to play Temu Discount Card / Cashback.

Some new users may be offered 200% Cashback, spend RM100 to get RM200 Cashback (credit to be used for future orders, no expiry).

Nowadays I often get invited for 70% (only) Cashback (24 hours) but 90%+ Cashback if place order within first hour.

For example, USB Drive 256GB, Lazada / Shopee / Temu RM100.
Lazada / Shopee with discounts / coins etc may get it at RM70
Temu: pay RM100 first, get back RM90 credit in 7 "instalments" over 7 days (don't miss it otherwise forfeited, The credit can be used in next orders). So technically I spend RM10 only for a 256GB USB drive.
If get "Temu Discount Card" at the same time, the price may drop to RM60, then with 90% Cashback, so I spend RM6 for a 256GB USB drive.

Quitting cold turkey for coin collecting is not an easy task. Stay strong, folks..

I tought I was the only one with this issue lol. Just checked the coins history and it seems around ~13 coins from other activities/tasks are now gone (Browse 1 Video @ 2 coins; Browse Livestream @ 2 coins; Browse 5 Shops @ 5 coins total; Play 4 Games @ 4 coins total)
Worse thing is I also installed the standalone Shopeepay app because of a popup in the main app claiming there would be a 1000 coins bonus for doing so but it has not been credited at all. Deceptive marketing? lol

This is just a 1 coin for check in I think. So there would be 2 daily check-ins, 1 from the main app and another from the standalone app


Btw does anyone know when the coins redemption for the new 'Shopee Mission' resets? It's almost always 'fully redeemed'. Only the golden ticket (currently for a gold bar lucky draw) & f&b vouchers are readily available

No need to wait, that SMission reset won't be coming. Why? Simple. It's because everybody's exchanging coins instead of tickets, vouchers and coupons.
