Ya.. expecially if you r using Damon 3 system.. for my case, i only have "feel" on 2nd day. According to Dr. How, he will put the braces on my lower teeth next month. Not sure how it will be.. But i am glad to see my upper already move in and tally in 4 months time..

Check out the Post#127 from ikanpari9, he provide us a list of orthodontist in Klang Valley. However, I never heard any good orthodontist in OUG or Puchong area. if in KL, few of my friend like the orthodontist near KLCC but i prefer DR. How (Bangsar) because he is quite pro and have Damon 3 system.

For my case, actually there is not much of feeling unless you bite food.. the wire is very stong (if not mistaken, it is titatium), so you have no worry. Just don;t brush too hard till the braces drop off.

Not sure if you aware on the method of brushing teeth ? All the while, we been told to using up and down method when brushing teeth. However, after we installed braces, we must change to left to right, right to left brushing method on 90 degree, then 135 degree, 45 degree to clean the braces. You may buy the small triangle brush to clean the gap between the 2 teeth - behind the wire(of couse using up and down method this time).

Also, your tooth brush should use the orthodontic tooth brush (I am using ORAL B). You can get it from Watson easily. The brush is in V shape. Prices about RM7.50.

actually, you still can eat rice. Just ask your mum cook the rice softer. I admit a bit hard to eat but try to using back teeth to bite lo.. or else, you will bored on the porridge after few week later. You will get thiner too (I lost 5 KG)

Try to balance your nutrition, to maintain your health.

I am not sure if you have to install "bite stop" behind your front teeth in future. If so, then your only choice of meal will be porridge only. Because when you close your teeth, upper and lower teeth can't touch each other at all, so u need to swallow food without bite.

Enjoy food while you still can have some bite

My food menu ah.. any food that can take in spoon and send to my back teeth for bite..ha ha..fish is the easy food for bite.. meat a bit difficult especially on first week but i can eat it now. Any food that require hard work on front teeth, i don't dare to try, eg. burger

Cool down The bite stop is act like a booster for the process.. it do help to adjust the teeth more faster, as our teeth didn't touch each other. Frankly, i hate it too but i love it as well

Can't talk properly is for sure.. i also same like green apple lo..just listen more, talk less..

ulcers ah..yup, i also..but i brought the Listerine Antisepic mouthwash to cure it and prevent it whenever it start hurt..

Recently, we can see the result for our friend after braces are so nice and natural. Not like us, still on the process, the teeth even come out a gap suddently. Well, i dun care my look already la..(even i am old) After installed braces, somehow i had build some self confident, dare to smile, dun care ppl will see my braces. May be I know, after the braces i will have a nice teeth. Nothing to worry then..

Just some update on my braces..

Yesterday, went to replace even thicker wire and this time Dr put some yellow rubber on top of the string. According to him, this will close my teeth's gap. My progess is good, the 2 upper vampires teeth already move in after 4 months..now is the time to allign the teeth gap.

He asked me to schedule another to install the braces in lower teeth. I make it on next Tuesday.

He also suggest me to put 4 screw (2 upper, 2 lower) in my front , so that can put in rubber to pull my teeth more effectively. This will help me to have better smile line. If just purely braces, it may take one year ++ for my situation, if installed screw, it will take around 6 months time only (somemore the time to put bite stoper will shorter ) The screw is not free I think i will put it, since can shorten the time. Although, will make me look ugly (i think)

so, will install braces on lower teeth, bite stoper and 4 screws on next Tuesday! Need lot of support from u guys ya

Wow !! Sazzzhi, welcome back here ! your appointment day always almost same day with me ya.. Dr. How open till so late ah? I tot till 7pm only. THanks for remind me here (not to eat hot food after braces).. Still wondering want to take half day leave on next tuesday or not, afraid after place screw, the pain caused me no mood to work.

What time u plan to come on next tues wor.. dun conflict with my appointment time le..later i have to wait longer outside.. haha.. just joking la..

After change to even thicker string on last 2 days, now my back teeth also painful..can't chew anymore..also, the position of upper teeth is no longer tally with lower teeth a bit after 4 months of treament.

Can't imagine how it will after tues..hmm..

No.. he didn't clean.. just check the progress status. i think nowaday everything also talking about money. if anyone of u still single, should look for dentist as bf --rich ma..

err.. my teeth consider clean kuar.. i spent 3~5min to clean my teeth each time..

Blood ? Install braces will not caused u any blood, no worry.. unless u extract teeth
