Yeah. The clinic is constantly upgrading. But I'm looking for braces treatment. Not looking for an environment to decide whether it's class or not. If u are expats probably u get VIP room sumore and interview. But for braces results no way. It's one of the worst decision I have ever made. I'm 26months down my treatment and my smile is upright crooked. So disheartening.

My braces was done by Imperial Dental and I was happy with the result. My friends all say the same thing:- I become so handsome 😝

Well, you need a faith on your chosen orthodontic. If they can helped so many happy patients and able received awards, surely they have their skill. Everyone teeth condition are different, so the treatment time are different too. I have some friend having braces treatment for three years plus as well. Be patient and cheer up~ results is more important than duration to me~ So far, my understanding on orthodontics is need to adjust upper and lower on many stage. Currently you lower doesn't look good is okie, I believe when finished the time, upper and lower will be nice. I think doctor also want settle the case asap ba..dragging time doesn't bring any better benefit to them. They surely want you look better and make them feel proud too. biggrin.gif

I was promised that he would handle my case personally. But dr how does not do braces anymore. It's by some young dentist. Not even orthodontist. And I'm 26months down my treatment. Not just the lower jaw is terrible. The whole smile is crooked.

Dr How is the chief consultant. He lectures widely all over the world. He makes sure that he sees every patient personally and prescribe the treatment each time and see the patient closely to complete the treatment on time. All the dentists are carefully selected and had attained a high level of dexterity and they show great care and concerns. If you have any issues you should discuss with Dr How and I am very sure that he will offer you a solution and solve the problem for you smile.gif
He always shows me my photos before, during and after treatment and I am amazed and grateful to see how I have transformed during the journey of treatment
May I help you to convey this problem to Dr How and I am sure that he would attend to your problem. As far as I know, he always assess the smile and make sure that my smile is correct. Hence, I am pretty sure that he wouldn't accept a crooked smile.
For my case, I have always seen by Dr How together with a nice dentist and they manage me proficiently. Frankly, I think is a misunderstanding. I suggest that you discuss with Dr How directly and if you need my help. I will be more than happy to convey your concerns to him..

Any good orthodontics around Kajang/Seri Kembangan/Serdang and Cheras area?.

I have slight overbite and few teeths not so allign at my bottom part teeth. The rest are pretty straight but i wish i have a perfect teeth look.

What type of braces should i take for my case?. Normally how much and duration to wear the braces?

A good experienced orthodontics will not only adjust teeth to straight. My understanding from orthodontic at Imperial Dental Bangsar, they told me that besides adjust the teeth straight, they will able and look into patient who have below problem:-

1) Crowding –the teeth are close together giving them a crowded (crooked) appearance
2) Overbite – the front teeth overlap considerably
3) Spacing – there are large, unsightly gaps between the teeth
4) Overjet – the front teeth jut out
5) Underbite- the lower teeth protrude
6) Openbite – when you bite your teeth together they will not touch
7) Misplaced Midline – the middle lines of both sets of teeth aren’t in alignment with each other
8) Crossbite – the teeth do not bite on the right side of each other

Quite a lot people have mixed problem..included with misplaced Midline. So, when wearing braces, all the teeth up and down need adjust together for perfect match. smile.gif

From here, we also know that a high experienced orthodontics [B]is very important to get your condition right after debond. Orthodontics treatment is talking about skills, not buying products or just do simple scaling service, shouldn't looking for clinic location that near to home. Personal recommendation, if want a good result should hunt for high experienced orthodontic, not location. Just my 2 cent of sharing.
