currently u are using the original car dash charger from oneplus?
*
Nope, I'm using the Baozu BZ001 CC (Dash, QC, SuperCharge, HFCP) + the Ori "Round" Dash cable. Dash Charges like a boss.

And why not the first party charger? Because the Baozu (like the one posted above) is a twin USB port charger, and the Ori is just a single port one (not enough for me).

Well it already works for Dash which I actually consider to be the most "elusive" of charging standards, the rest should be kacang mamak TBH lol... brows.gif

I mean, we don't even have wide support amongst Powerbanks lol (besides the Mapoer, Baozu and Oppo's own VOOC unit ler).

I have 2 ori cables (from OP5 and OP6) and 3 oem cables from taobao (2 normal, 1 flat type).

The taobao ones have whiter color on the white part. Ori ones will turn very slightly yellowish.

On the white part where it is glued (the line) between 2 pieces also has slight imperfection, very very slight that you have to look very carefully.
Overall the taobao ones are quite well built, not sure about charging speed but similar enough for me (I didn't measure)

If you found online shop mentioning it is original but costs only 15-30, definitely is OEM like the one from taobao. Because it is very similar people might not notice.

Edit: just saw your posted pics of the cable packaging. It is the same as what I got from taobao = not ori but works

Anyone from s9 plus jumped over to op6? I'm fascinated by the speed and battery life reviews by YouTubers and would like to know what do you guys think.

Is it worth the switch?

I see, thanks for the explanation.

Since it's work, I guess should be fine

Since even my ipx, I also use original cable at home then buy some third party cable for outside use

I have little extended experience with the S9+ (or any modern Sammy for that matter since the Note 3), but if there's anything my looooong previous experience with Sammy has thought me (pretty much every flagship from the S2 to the N3), is that most of them were filled to the brim with background services - leading to the infamous "progressive Samsung lag" (aka "why-is-my-Samsung-getting-slower-every-month" syndrome) and corresponding battery drain.

Grace UX was supposed to "fix" this, though if you dig deep, it's still seems to not entirely be "light enough" bloat-wise even at this point.

I won't lie and say that OOS doesn't have ANY background bloat, but it's pretty barebones compared to what Sammy has, leading to the claims of speed/lesser lag and battery life - which, for me at least, is pretty spot on.

The prompt OP update schedule seems to help too.

On the other hand, leaving Grace UX for OOS does also mean you give up a lot of Sammy's software niceties. And, you know, that awesome QHD+ AMOLED, expandable memory, Samsung Pay and terrific camera setup on the hardware side of the S9+.

So yeah, if you feel that those things are worth trading out for lesser lag in extended use and better controlled battery drain, then yeah the OP6 might just be "worth" the switch.

Well, IMHO anyway ler.

I'm a new OP6 user and I admit it wasn't easy choosing between the OP6, S9+ and Note 9. In the end Marques Brown the tech YouTuber convinced be because he said he stopped using the Pixel 2 as his daily driver and switched to the OP6.

And although the S9+ is a beautiful phone, I wasn't sure about the curved edges and whether I would like them long term.

Samsung later models such as after S7 and Note 7 is impressive. Your experience using those old models cannot be compared with the newer ones. Bloatware can be disabled if you don't like it and very much reduced too now

ive tried note 9 at 3 different shop. im quite disappointed with the response speed. seems like there was like 0.5s lag or more when switching / opening apps, animation is not as smooth as op6 imo. im not sure whether its just me or wat, but 3 shop is having same problem on the display phone is a really low possibility.
