i disabled all those android auto stuff
settings---bluetooth and connected devices----android auto---disable all

Follow the steps below.


Tools to be needed:

ADB
Oneplus Drivers
Qualcom Drivers
QSPT Software

1st - Connect your phone and run adb on administrator mode and type this command:

adb devices - make sure that your device is working on adb

adb reboot ftm - this will reboot your phone into diagnostic mode and you can see Chinese characters there

adb shell

then type this command

setprop sys.usb.config diag,serial_cdev,rmnet,adb then enter

after that, don't close the command prompt

2nd - open device manager and make sure on the com port tab, you can see the Qualcomm HS something like that.

if you can see that the driver is installed, next is

3rd - open PDC as administrator

4th -Select your device on the drop-down menu then if you see your device select it and right-click on "Oversea-Commercial_DS" and deactivate Sub0 and Sub1
Click on Oversea-Commercial_DS again and click on remove -- DO NOT CLICK REMOVE, JUST DE-ACTIVATE IT - your settings stick after a reboot, so no longer need to remove the profile (at least on my device my profiles stick, also makes it easier to go back to default)

5th - Close the app and reopen it

6th - Select India-VoLTE-Vodafone or Telefonica_UK_Commercial, right-click and SetSelectedConfig for both Sub0 and Sub1

7th - Click on the profile you selected (India) again and click on Activate
Yes, select UK/India even if you are located in another region (see above for confirmed locations + carriers)

8th -Close the PDC and go back to cmd/adb then type
adb reboot

Ya bro.. I also disabled a lot of stuff which I cant remember now. I dont think its really necessary. Just give it a few days to let the FW organize its own algorithm and then its good to go.

im having odd issues w/ the camera after the update. if launch camera from whatsapp or wechat, it does not focus or takes a long time to focus. and its like its suddenly got near-sightedness.

I tried to verify my ID via yoodo app, totally cannot focus. Another friend also having same issue.

just tried...no issues for me when launch camera from WA

weird.... it just couldn't stay at India-VoLTE-Vodafone..... back to oversee commercial after reboot....

I experienced this using Google Translate app. Camera just refuses to focus.

Using MySejahtera, some times camera macam difficult to focus but more often than not it reads the QR code quite fast

Looks like pretty common on aging OnePlus phone..
I have this issue on my 3t.. I normally just tap on the side to get the auto focus unstuck

My OP3 langsung cannot use back camera... can't focus, tap smack sayang, all not working. But the rest of the phone still functions

This issue with OP6 only happens to me while using Google Translate. Camera app, camera through Whatsapp, MySejahtera scan QR, Adobe scan doc, etc is fine. This is why I suspect it's a software bug, not camera hardware problem

for me, i will need to remove the oversea commericial for it to work as it will always revert back after reboot

Its because you did not remove the Overseas Commercial DS that it keeps reverting back after a reboot.

I see... I thought I'm the only case cos the instructions stated no need to remove... 😂 Thank you for you all replies
By the way, I'm experiencing a bug which I oso found it during the beta 1 version: after screenshot, delete direct from the screenshot app, but it still appear in the gallery, means not really deleted.
Anyway this prob was address in beta 2... Hope the stable version will come up with a fix soon.

And the cam feels like no stabilization when activated via 3rd party apps. AND my friend who has the same phone also have the same issue

Any other apps to try? I guess my unit is dyin
