15% battery drain over night is not ok. It is supposed to be 6-8% max. Mine went from 26% to 0 % by midnight. That is really bad.

Anyway, you need to use adb to access PDC now on OOS11. If not you wont be be able to access and change the settings in the modem. Let me know if you need the steps.

Mine also around 10% even on Android 10, so wasn't too bad for me.

Yes I did the adb method and selected India / UK one based on the guide using pdc and it's not working for my celcom

I don have Digi sim card so can't verify if I have set it correctly.

What I can be sure is my celcom sim has VoLTE enabled from celcom since other phone is working except on 1+6

Did you delete Overseas Commercial DS ? Because if you didn't the system automatically reverts back to it.

You need to call your Telco to get your VoLTE activated for your line first.

Update Day 2.
Battery drain is still very apparent. Media Storage seems to be the main cause of battery drain. Went to bed at 11:30 at 28% and woke up again at 3 am with the phone turned off. Worst update even. Dont bother updating to OOS 11. Wait for at least 2 to 3 updates after OOS 11 to update as per OP8 series and above.

mine no such issues~ mine is full clean wipe tho..

Is it worth the update to Android 11? Wondering if root is available on that.

Still on Android 10 with unlocked bootloader and root. Blocking ads is amazing and magisk hide bypasses most app root detection. VoLTE enabled through Qualcomm PDC.

Clean wipe should work better. Read that it takes at least 2 days for the fw to get its algorithm right. Seems to be working ok now. Will monitor again.
Anyway android 11 is notorious for its battery drain. shakehead.gif

Update Day 3

Battery drain seems to have stabilize now. I'm getting battery life as per on android 10. But media storage and Android system still tops on battery consumption. There is a significant drain when I turn of wifi and leave data on for the night.

Hey guys, do you notice your phone charging at a slower speed than normal? I noticed this few days ago. I'm running custom ROM. Though I don't think that's a factor really, since I've been running this ROM for quite a while

Update Day 4

Battery drain has finally stopped. I can conclude that it is safe to update to OOS 11 now. Just that it will take a few days for the FW to organize itself and the algorithm. Media Storage has also ceased to be No1 reason for battery drain.

Nah... mine is set to "raise to wake". AOD draws a lot of battery juice.

Just updated via oxygen updater. Phone was running warm to the touch an hour or so after the update, probably background processes related to the update.

Weird my VoLTE icon suddenly shoe up when I check today.

It wasn't working or showing after applying Adb that day
