Ok... Seems OOS 11.0 is working fine and running smooth on my phone. Didn't face any issues so far. No lag or stutters for now. The new interface makes the phone feels like my OP8 now.
Maxis does have VoLTE bro...
https://www.maxis.com.my/en/about-maxis/max...ASAAEgIZbPD_BwE

But you would have to enable it manually. Previous methods to enable VoLTE dont work on OOS 11. You would have to use ADB Shell to enable it first before PDC could detect your phone. (Same procedures for all OOS11 update OP phones). I have enabled mine and if anybody needs the steps I will update here.

Are you using maxis? I think have read somewhere in xda forum that it is trial and error thing on the carrier profile to enable the volte.

Update. Day 2.

After installing OOS 11 on my phone, everything seems to be running fine. No lags or bugs encountered as of yet. Battery seems to be draining quicker after installation, mostly due to phone getting new OS into place but its is fine today. Only bug was I left my phone at 52% battery before going to sleep and waking up at 3am in the morning to find the battery fully drained out. A first for me. Recharged the phone to 100% and everything seems to be working fine again. Battery usage is similar to android 10 for now. Only need to monitor tonight for possible overnight battery drain which is very peculiar.

What I did after I installed OOS 11.

-Installed from OOS10 and restored (not clean install)
-Re-Enabled VoLTE and VoWifi using adb
-Cleared Cached
-Soft Reset

Main culprit was media storage. Until now its still there but there are no usage stats for it. rclxub.gif

Apparently this is an Android 11 bug affecting Pixel and Oneplus phones. rclxub.gif

Quite sad to see VoLTE support is so lagging on this phone, even with the manual enabled VoLTE and VoWifi using adb.

I'm on Celcom and tested on other phone like samsung and xiaomi all work out of the box doh.gif

Feel the same. Just am not sure if this is our telcos’ fault or oneplus.

I think it's oneplus fault not supplying telcos with settings/profile when new phones are launched. I heard that Samsung is quite in the forefront in this area. All their recent phone is supported by maxis. My wife note 20 on maxis automatically received SMS to download 5g configuration once sim card is inserted.

Update Day 2.

Battery drain is still very apparent. Media Storage seems to be the main cause of battery drain. Went to bed at 11:30 at 28% and woke up again at 3 am with the phone turned off. Worst update even. Dont bother updating to OOS 11. Wait for at least 2 to 3 updates after OOS 11 to update as per OP8 series and above.

We are too small of a market for Oneplus developers to take note of us. However the Nord have these settings updated on their fw. Yes Only on Nord. Don't ask me why but its what is happening.

Mine was ok maybe around 15% drop over night now. It was bad on the 1st half day after updated to Andriod 11, seems stabilized after that

15% battery drain over night is not ok. It is supposed to be 6-8% max. Mine went from 26% to 0 % by midnight. That is really bad.

Anyway, you need to use adb to access PDC now on OOS11. If not you wont be be able to access and change the settings in the modem. Let me know if you need the steps.
