Because right now I'm thinking of either OP6 or P20 because their prices are basically the same (my interest is just the camera. I dont really care about other things). Slightly leaning towards P20 since I'm already used to EMUI (currently using P9 lite). But after reading and watching reviews and comparisons, OP6 seems like the better deal. I guess I'll wait and see what 6t brings? if not I'll just pull the trigger on OP6 and hope for OP6 price drop.

For camera, Huawei P20 is much better in my opinion. If main concern is camera better go ahead P20. It is not OnePlus 6 camera not good just Huawei P20 will be much better.

I have no problems taking screenshots, but have problems with using the pixel pil nav bar. Press slightly to the left of the back button will trigger recent app menu instead of going back  bangwall.gif so annoying, can u try to replicate this bug? Just try to press the left corner of the nav bar (left of the back button). Make sure u're using the pixel nav bar.

Indeed the pixel bar has the issue you've mentioned, when I try to press the bottom left of the nav bar, it takes me to recent app.
*

Does the problem still persist? I no need to press exactly on the BACK button yet it still recognized it.
The BACK button is to be pressed, while to evoke RECENT swipe up anywhere also can, include swipe up at BACK button. Maybe when pressing BACK the system interpret your thumb touch as swipe up.

What I'm not to used to yet is the short slide left to open last used app. Slide too much and it open second last used app instead. Slide too little and it interpret as pressing the HOME button instead doh.gif

Not sure about the pixel nav bar because i'm using the full screen gesture.

Maybe you try to use the full screen gesture first, wait until pixel nav bar get fixed then only use back

Oh the FSG is still in Pie? Nice to know because I've gotten rather attached to it lol.

Though I've heard that you lose the big "kill all apps" X though if you go FSG, is that true?

Yes it is. I've reported the bug on OnePlus forum and already sent the log files to the dev team. They're working on it and hopefully they'll come up with a solution soon.

Noice.

Shame I'm more of a vertical recents rolodex guy then a horizontal one, but eyyy, I'm also probably not gonna go up to Pie soon anyway (blame the entire army of Xposed modules I've grown to rely on)....

... though that army has actually whittled down to only a few stalwarts lately, and it might not be long that some of those get ported over to Magisk (through simple modules or MagiskROMs) so it might end up being sooner than I'd initially expected.

I need the HOME button because I use the double tap to screen off. Oneplus didn't have any other method from screen to off it, during Oreo time I also have to use the normal Android nav keys.

Maybe they'll fix it with next update. You still using Pill nav keys or full screen gesture?

The only way to split screen now is have to press the 3 small dot on top of the app? Hold and drag doesn't seem to work anymore. Long screen is good for split screen but now more difficult to split screen.

double tap on screen doesn't work flawless like oneplus launcher. I used nova launcher and it just awful with the double tap to sleep.

It it does, then of course. Higher battery capacity = better battery life.
*
I know it does , but for how long ?

is it with 3700 mah we can more battery life for an hour or just 35 minutes ?

I know its depend on type.of users, but i dont think extra 400 mah can give lot of difference

It's about about optimisation - Ifags. doh.gif

You will have to wait for the actual phone to come out and let the reviewers do their job. Its just an added advantage the OP6T has over the OP6. Want a big battery? Go for the Zenphone Max with 4000 mah battery.

I used nova launcher on my previous android phone, but the oxygen launcher is pretty lightweight and similar to vanila standard android ROM, i prefer it to be lightweight that's why i chose OP6
Oxygen launcher works flawlessly for the double tab on "wallpaper" to on and off the screen, but now i could not find the "function" how to enable it on Pie, where last time i remember was on the "security" menu.

Double tap to lock : long press on wallpaper, go to home settings, then select Double tap to lock

Double tap to on : go to settings, select buttons & gestures, select quick gestures, double tap to wake

Dun like this method cause sometime accident put to sleep laugh.gif

That's why I have it set to tap-tap-hold-swipe up in Nova, works a lot better with less accidental activations... though I use the power button to sleep more than the gesture to begin with.

That said I haven't had any issues at all using the gesture to sleep either.
