Probably yes for Super VOOC, considering OP already trademarked "Warp Charge". Although you have to wonder if there will be backwards compatibility with "normal" Dash.

Also, 6T might have an in-display FPS, which might (or like the Nex S, might not) work for "secure" apps like M2U.

Other that those two considerations, it's pretty safe to say that 6T is probably worth waiting for... And at the very least there will probably be a slight bump down in 6 prices for whatever stocks that remains by then as well, IF the 6 turns out to not be your cuppa tea.

Hi guys, anyone experience problem with 4g? Intermittently my signal will drop to E only. And need to toggle airplane mode on and off for it to revert back to 4g. Currently using celcom with international version

I didn't try yet, I would try it tonight n see how it's going to perform.

happened to me too. im using 2 simcard, and sometimes the data will drop to E. i then switch simcard and switch back again, and it works. and by switch, i mean using the quick setting

Maybe pricing wise. Features wise it's far too late to add anything in direct response to the PocoPoco (like a big ass battery) already if they're aiming for a Oct/Nov release IMO.

But even if they're copying straight from the R17 Pro template (+845), specs don't look like anything to be scoffed at TBH.

Personally I think so too TBH, but unfortunately "thicc" is kinda a taboo word amongst phone makers nowadays lol.

But if the R17P specs are anything to go by, we're getting at least 3700+mahs, split between two batteries (to allow Super Duper Hyper Fast... ehem... Warp Charge). Better then no upgrade at all lol.

Anddddd BECAUSE we're getting SDHF charging (lol), we're probably NOT gonna get wireless charging, AGAIN.

If really wait till next January we might see it equipped with 855. I heard the next OnePlus phone will be a Flagship model, will see significant price bump. To be honest i like NEX/Mi Mix more.

The downside of on screen fingerprint is... slow, so did OnePlus really over come this barrier? "Unlock the speed". There really no need to have Wireless Charging if it has access to Super VOOC.

I'm actually going through a whole slew of technical questions in my mind about the practicality of using two batteries over one (which it's doing to achieve SDHF Charge - yes I'm gonna just call it that now), but I guess if its decent enough that Oppo can fit it into the the R17P fer realz, then it shouldn't be too bad.

On the other hand, as for the FPS, unless it's Ultrasonic (which I doubt), it's not gonna be any speedier then the Nex S's... except if it skips some verification stages (which would make it less secure = bad) or if it's actually NOT the same optical FPS unit as the one used in the Nex S (a Synaptics unit, perhaps).

Well, unless someone tears down an R17R, we'll probably won't know anyway until we get closer to Nov.

Oh, BTW seems my cases have arrived, both the Sedio Optik and MoKo Twill OEMs straight from AliEx. Details incoming, but lemme say one thing about the Optik OEM: It might very well be the BEST "clear" type case I've gotten so far.

Not really. The 5T came in November 2017. The 6T should arrive earlier looking at how soon Oneplus pushes out its new models every 6 months. I'd say we should be expecting the 6T to arrive around November or early December for sure.

Why the hype with all the on screen fingerprint / normal fingerprint unlock. With facial unlock which is way more convenient and faster than fingerprint unlock, why bother about fingerprint unlock anymore?

Did you guys notice how thick the Note 9 is with 4000 mah? There is no more space to squeeze the extra mah for now. I would prefer a thinner phone. 3300mah on oxygen could easily last me a day under normal usage.

I for one prefer FPS over Face Unlock. Why? For now its more secure (unless you go full Apple with 3D depth mapping), faster (well, in its current form anyway), doesn't have issues with accessories (except for gloves ler) and you can actually use the FPS for other things (like launching stuff, turning on torchlight, pulling down the notification drawer etc).

But eyyy, maybe in a few years maybe Face Unlock will be good enough that it won't matter anymore.

And damn it. I have shit skills with SPs... I have now ruined both of the bloody SGFreshIdea TGSPs, totally. Sigh.

I give up, tomorrow I go find TGSP at a bloody shop ler.

Screen unlock is good features, especially when your hand is busy... but to remove the finger print sensor from the back is a bad choice. Think about it, when you hold your phone your index finger is located at the FPS where it unlock the screen. for me if they release somewhere in January, I assume they're waiting for 855, and want to be the first Flagship phone to have that processor in 2019.

For battery, i don't mind it get thicker, Dual battery if possible. then + Super VOOC. That definitely top of the line spec. Ultimate phone on the go for me.
