Say until p20 pro camera so good.... I'm only using it for 4 months with only 5,000+ shoots. now got issue with it

I didn't realize it at first until i zoomed in to view those photos and found the purple spot in the photos. The purple dot is so obvious especially on light color objects. So coincidence, all photos taken after 1/1/2019, got this purple spot issue.

Yea, still under warranty. But my concern now is after repaired not sure will it still retain the water resistant IP67 anymore

Is there any method to stop the notification for Android Pie in P20 Pro? I don't want to upgrade because Pie breaks an app I used frequently.

It depends if you prefer pixel-level (not Google Pixel) quality or color profile. To me, Leica's main contribution is its signature colour profile. If you like to pixel peep, HTC U11+ and Sony XZ3 are the best. But it doesn't mean the exposure and color of the overall pic is nicer.

Had htcu11+ too. The pixel still lose to s8 which is an older generation too.

I think it is a lens problem. I had the same problem with my P10 before; the resolution was to replace the camera module. If your phone is still under warranty, then you should certainly get them to replace it.

Three possibilities:
- You didn't view them on the same monitor. S8 has much better screen than U11+. Or
- You did not turn on HDR mode on U11+. Or
- gsmarena studio test is not reliable.

U11+ is same gen as S8. U12+ vs S9. I think they are both pretty leveled in pixel level, but U11+ has slight advantage. Both S9 and U12+ have worse details compared to their predecessor. Probably toned down post processing? Or gsmarena simply used handheld to test them and coincidentally it's shaky that day? lol

Hm.. Anyone have any idea how much a 3 months old P20 worth right now? I'm considering to let go my unit but ain't sure about the current market price.

My P20Pro screen not working.. all totally blank.
I still can receive calls by swiping the right area.

Is it the screen rosak?

I went to the beach... then on the way back, I charge it using powerbank and play games... suddenly the whole screen goes black.

i'm confused, you charge it and play games, then the screen went black, but can still receive calls?

yes... the screen is dark (like when u are not using), but if people called me, it will ring and if I swipe properly at the area to receive call, I will be able to pickup the call.

Maybe can try to turn it off completely by holding on the power button for 15 seconds or so. If it still cannot light up the screen, I suspect your LCD screen is damaged by (maybe) bad power bank unstable output.

Roughly how much will it be to replace the screen?
I am currently in overseas =(

Try to claim warranty first, no harm trying.
