QUOTE(jmunchar @ Nov 30 2007, 11:50 PM) Please read the Wiki in malsingmaps, especially the newbies section. If you are new, then 2.14 is out of your reach, you need contribution to get unlock code else your garmin can't open it, the instructions are clearly written in the forum. As of now, use their June map which is not lock. 2.14 has routing problem on certain coordinate, can't remember exactly. I am using 2.13. I learn all the way from the Wiki in malsingmaps, no problem unless you are lazy to follow the steps. |

If you were to check the notebook & pda thread in garage slaes section, there are some people selling at 3150 wth the above package. |

QUOTE(ZiYi @ Nov 30 2007, 07:28 PM) Of course it won't!!! You didn't connect it to any part of the circuit board, and it doesn't require any external power to work. Basically it just orientate the signal to the antenna so that the antenna can get better signal concentration. Lucky bro didn't said it will explode. It won't help you boost from very low signal to full bar, that's impossible, but one bar boosted is true. http://www.m-99.co.uk/Mobile_Phone_Gadgets...nformation.html TyTN II have phone and GPS antenna on the top, WLAN and bluetooth antenna on the bottom, may be you needs 2 for total effect. QUOTE(daceman @ Dec 2 2007, 11:51 AM) You can also try Freshgear shop. Although they sell at the same price (3,288) they give u extra 1-year warranty, and of course, the same freebies. I just happened to be one of their customer. I I get my unit there also Just a standard freebie. But one years extra warranty. |

I guess it depend on the person. Some like alot freebie and cheaper. Some just ok with Std package. But I guess freebie and cheaper is the main attraction.
