Guess I'll get it ASAP once launched.
However, my few concerns are :-
1. expect problems with the 1st batch
2. tilted screen is cool, but new design can results in design flaw.
3. build-quality of the material as you WILL want to tilt it everytime.

wonder how does the 3mp camera perform?

Based on much every reviews I read, it is awesome. However, there's no flash but AF feature is more important to me.

Need some confirmation here. According to HTC official site, it has 256MB ROM & 128MB RAM. The guy in lelong put it as 128MB ROM & 64MB RAM. If the lelong guy spec is the real one in our market, then I'm very disappointed.

No HSUPA is still ok, not really that biggie. And it's not mentioned in HTC site as well. And the hot swappable SIM Card isn't confirmed yet too.

I checked today at one of Action's branch. The staff has no firm idea on the release date yet. They can only tell me it's Q4 2007. Sucks..

just wanna update everyone.

PDA Expert claims that they'll be getting stock of the Tytn II before any other outlet.
Called this fellow called "Eden" over at PDA expert Midvalley... initally said it will come Monday, then postponed to Friday... Today i call the guy, and he says there's no chance i can get it today. THe unit hasn't arrived from HQ, bla bla bla. Everytime he sayd he'll update me as to when the unit will arrive, but i have yet to receive even one call or sms from these chaps

I'm really frustrated with these PDA "experts"...
Keeping my fingers crossed for tomorrow though
*
Bro, I myself have some bad experience with the PDA Expert staff at Midvalley branch. But I'll keep that to myself.

I think most shop will start selling probably on the same day. Just dunno when.

Sure thing, will post the photo soon. TyTN II for Malaysian market does not come with Tom Tom navigation, we get the MapKing instead. There are 2 maps, 1 KL plus, and another one is for the whole peninsular. Too bad you only get to register 1 map for free. (I chose KL map)

Besides, you get the a stereo headset (handsfree), 2 CDs (CD1 activesync, CD2 other apps), pouch (quote nice), AC adapter (charger) and usb sync cable.

The headset is using the mini-USB, so you'll need mini-usb to 3.5mm jack adapter to use standard earphones.

The warranty provided by SIS is 1 year. However, as correctly mentioned by kerazul, Freshgear giving another 1 year warranty.

Will updates you guys again soon.

there is no screen protector? I saw in youtube it's included.
*
Yea, sorry. I forgot to mention it. The freshgear guy installed another screen protector on mine. The one that comes with TyTN II is still in the box.

I think about the same, but KL map is for KL only and more details.

I can't get the GPS to lock either.

Managed to get the GP to lock this morning. Took a while to lock though. But still better than my bro's E90.

I've written a review on this device here http://www.apedia.info/?p=145

One question, is there any free-community map for Mapking?

Thanks but the URL is for Mapking R10 but I'm using R12. Mapking R12 couldn't detect it.

one more thing, does the tytn2 really hv touchflo2? cos its not listed in their site...just wanna confirm it...
*
The touchflo technology is not the same as the ones in HTC Touch. You can only scroll with ur finger in TyTN II and I think that's cool enough.

If the random freeze you talking about is the reconnection to WIFI upon screen switched on, then yes (given that you switched WIFI on). Other than that, my Kaiser is quite stable.

Maybe you can elaborate more on the freeze u encountered.

You and your friend, are u 2 using the same line? Maxis to Maxis for eg or Maxis to Celcom?

It could be the timestamp registered by the cell tower for example that's different.
