The transactions should be reversed very soon, after you file the dispute form. However, the transactions (the fraud and reversal) will not be removed from your CC ledger/statement.

Check your next monthly statement.

You will find the actual "transaction date" is a few days after you give your credit card details at dell.com.my. Most of the time the payment will go to Dell... MY, but it may be diverted to Dell... SG instead. Typical American, OTP is not required.

If Dell... SG, some card issuers may charge 1% Cross border fee though the transaction is in RM. Maybank don't charge the cross border fee.

I used Maybank FC Barcelona Visa, no CB for UK Government - related transaction. (August 2021). So I don't think you would earn TP.

Also, use any Visa/Mastercard CREDIT card if transaction amount is big, in case of refund (eg I paid RM19000 but got RM9000+ refund). Please note higher forex charge if using Amex.

For small amount transactions (<RM2500), consider Visa/Mastercard DEBIT card, cheaper charge than Visa/Mastercard CREDIT card. Bigpay Visa and Merchantrade Visa are good alternatives.

Can, "transaction date" must be 16/10/2021 (Saturday).
Don't pay to a Malaysian site.
Make sure the Australia/NZ/Japan site use the local time (already 16/10/21) not using Los Angeles / New York / London / Singapore time (15/10/21).

You didn't check the monthly statement dated 28/10/21?
If there is something wrong, file the dispute with the card Centre immediately.

Otherwise, to avoid credit card interest, Always Pay FULL statement balance (or more) on or before the due date. This is the golden rule to a credit card user to avoid credit card interest.

Your question won't change the statement balance and payment due date. If there is any adjustment after the statement date, you still pay the full statement balance (or >), it will reduce the outstanding balance and next statement balance.

Your CB is less than RM1 so NO CB.

If I am not wrong, you can't convert your existing credit limit at Maybank Islamic (Ikhwan) to a new credit limit at Maybank Conventional banking (M2 Cards). You need to apply M2 CC, if you get it, you decide if you want to cancel Ikhwan CC.

However, conversion from Maybank's CC to Maybank Islamic's CC is straight forward, just need to fill up a conversion form (available at M2U).

You =/= majority.
Some just want to use the credit, don't mind to pay the credit card interest. Thank you for their contribution to make the reward/rebate scheme sustainable.
Some just want the convenience, not looking into the tiny rewards and rebate. Weekend rebate is only RM50/month, too little.
Some are just having fun to chase for reward points and rebate, just like "many of" you.

Also, majority of Malaysians still prefer using cash, don't mind to queue up at the ATM to withdraw cash for daily expenses. Even the ATM card is a debit card or can be used to top up E-wallet.
