Dear Valued Cardmember,

Please be informed that effective 1 September 2018, an annual Service Tax of RM25 is applicable on all Maybank Credit and Charge Cards.

The Service Tax cannot be waived due to a regulation governed by Service Tax Act 2018.

Alternatively, Cardmembers may opt to pay the Service Tax using Maybank Points.

Anyone managed to call CS to waive SST charges for both Visa and Amex card?

Since amex no longer give cashback for utilities (eg TNB),
Is there any alternative to pay TNB bill (and earn cashback)? I have HLB Wise but i always used up the quota so no room left for tnb bills.

So i was charged with SST today for my MBB AMEX and MBB FCB.

called CS, and was said redemption of SST is amounting to 10,000 TP.

and TP from AMEX can also redeem SST imposed on FCB card.

reversal will be reflected in 24 hours.

Do you all know you can get better rate some where else?

   

those planing to use amex to pay TM bills, better quickly add them as favorite today.

note sure if ad-hoc pay bill (non-favorite) will work or not; or what will happen later.

M2U Bill payment - Amex to Unifi/TM still allowed.
But you can't add new Unifi/TM account to "Favourite" only, Must manually key in the Unifi/TM account number.

I already splurged max into Grab and Boost.

I believe yes, so far only Barcelona cannot utilise TP points to waive SST

MBB VS should be OK as it can also collect TP.

My maybank 2card was approved early April 2018.
My first statement date was 28/4/18.
This is my first credit card. I was quite anxious. I log in maybank2u weekly to check transactions.
You will be able to view dates from your maybank2u, roughly 2 days after first statement out.

Maybank keep cut cost. I just changed my savings account to another bank recently. Convenient than MBB. Fund received got SMS alert too.

Ok checked my statement for this month. Able to get x5 points for starbucks reload.

I forgot weekend no longer has x5 
Then maybe I try top-up BP using MB2C amex this month to test?
