QUOTE(QWERTYUIOP12 @ Nov 14 2018, 04:49 PM) Depends on the vendor and the postage they use. Some of the veondors I bought from, delivery only took 1 week plus only. Some I waited for 2 weeks. Generally, delivery from Shopee is much faster than from Aliexpress. That is why my priority when ordering is Shopee. However, for orders less than RM35 no free shipping. |

I only use fingerprint unlock. I never like the face unlock.
Also, try disabling the Asus gestures. That is known to consume some batteries. |

QUOTE(zenman @ Nov 15 2018, 08:13 AM) Was trying out the fingerprint unlock for the first time last night. It only works with either pattern, PIN or password, right? I thought it was fingerprint ONLY to unlock and lock. Correct me if I got this wrong. I never did enable any of the Zenmotion gestures because in one of the previous firmware it was reported this will drain the battery. I am not sure if Asus fixed the drainage but I did not bother to check as I am used to not using the Zenmotion. Then again, your battery drainage might be due to this and a combination of other apps running in the background. For now, I'm still using Zenmotion i.e. DT to turn off screen, DT to wake up and Swipe to wake up. I've disabled "gestures on dark screen" eg. "W" to launch Chrome and etc. Will this still have an impact on battery life? |

QUOTE(BI45JSJKNX @ Nov 15 2018, 10:41 AM) Unlocking bootloader will not cause any apps blocking. Only rooting will cause apps not working. Then again, with Magisk, you can install hide root addon. So far it is working great for me. All the backing apps are working fine. |

QUOTE(azhar75 @ Nov 20 2018, 06:42 AM) For LTE, local M1P supports Band 5 and Band 40. Not Band 38. So, if we are connected to UniFi Mobile's cell tower emitting Band 38, the M1P will connect to HSDPA bandwidth which the free quota is about 50MB (was 500MB previously) ... Just got the mobile@unifi sim. Tested line works for calls and sms except data. Tried swapping Sim slot but still doesn't work. The other line, Digi is working fine on both slot. Any idea what is the problem?[attachmentid=10114326] Once the free 50MB data depleted, we need to buy the 3G quota in the app...if not, no data will go thru M1P ...not even 64kbps speed... So, try to move on to next cell tower that emitting Band 5 or 40... The UniFi Mobile's coverage for LTE (Band 5, 38 & 40) is like trying to win a lottery ... Mostly Band 5 ... But since it's free, no harm to try...the 2GB LTE (was 20GB previously) is kind of "paksa-rela" situation... LOL... |

QUOTE(Green_HT @ Nov 21 2018, 01:22 PM) Setting -> mobile network -> advanced -> access point name (select Unifi Sim) - put -> unifi for Name & APN Thanks! This works! I tried on different phones and all works without need to change the APN name. Only this Asus need to add the APN name manually. So strange! |

Just wondering if I should cause I have never cleared the cache after every update. |

QUOTE(coolguy99 @ Nov 22 2018, 09:12 PM) Asus is really going head on with Xiaomi. M2 is launched at the time Redmi Note 6 Pro launches. Same design also, with notch. And using same SoC. LOL...I like this kind of competition...will benefit end-users. |

QUOTE(sonicbull @ Nov 26 2018, 02:18 PM) Hi M1 owners. I'm using Xiaomi A1. Thinking to change phone for better battery life. Should I buy M1 or wait for M2? The question is, can you wait 2 months for M2? If yes then can you wait 12 months for M3? If yes then can you wait 24 months for M4? You get the idea...buy if you can't wait.My phone usage: 1) heavy user 2) GPS 3) YouTube 4) camera for work 5) WhatsApp for work Now M1 4GB+64GB Rom selling Rm799 at Lazada |
