15s coming soon la.. most prolly this weekend. now wondering whether should get better tires or what.. i thought of using goodyear NCT5 since cheap
and not too bad. and other recommendations? not too expensive ones and balanced in terms of handling, noise, and also durability.

Potenza GIII has been replaced by Potenza Adrenalin RE001, i like that very much but damn expensive wooi.
Now trying Hankook Ventus RS2, dry drive as grip as G3, not yet try at wet condition. but for the money u pay, it is worth.

^ RE001. launched few months ago, wet n dry grip better than gIII but a bit on the noisy side.

RE-01 is pre-decessor of RE-01R, developed mostly for jdm.

careful with the Hankook RS2 on the water, may aquaplane a bit. i've used them before last year before changing to michelin pp2. the rs2 are budget good tyres smile.gif

Scrap the idea of using NCT5, its crap. Only the Eagle F1 is worth using for Goodyear. The rest you may consider is GIII or RE001, BFGoodrich G-Force Sport, Yokohama AD07 or Parada Spec 2, Federal SS595 Drift Competition and Hankook RS2 too. smile.gif

EK4 (Auto) halfcuts are quite rare i think. I only saw one quite some time back in a chop shop in Klang. the B16A5 engine giving out around 150bhp, around the same power output as the new Civic, but less power than a normal B16A with manual tranny and also cheaper (around RM5k+ including the EK4's complete brake system...but that was a few years back). I wanted to get that for my old EK but opted for the B16A4 manual version instead. i think B16A engines are best enjoyed manually. biggrin.gif

Hi bro, i too heard similar stories about RCT. So far i have tried 2 workshops situated in Setapak. 1 is in Danau Kota area, called Powerspeed. I was satisfied with their service, but somehow i found the workers to be noobish. The boss there is very knowledgeble though. Former EG track racer at the now demolished Batu Tiga.

The next is at Setapak desa, me and moon currently frequent it. Ampower motorsports. Im satisfied with their work, somore quite friendly with the mechanic there. Showed me his skills at genting somore. Can do welding, body paneling, engine conversions/modifications over there. They bring in halfcuts and have quite alot of stuff lying around for our honduhs. Only downside i feel is the pricing, its abit on the highside compared to avantech.

Else so far ok la, you can give it a try smile.gif
