was shipped to sg. free delivery no gst for sg custom side lol. overall only paid sgd 309.

back to main question, worth switching or stay put?

Yes. OnePlus really sets the bar damn high, to be honest. I do not have any experience in other brands, but this is what I perceived from reading and friends' exp:
Google Pixel (most consistent animation) >= OnePlus Oxygen (faster but may not be as consistent) > Android One (except Nokia, all Android One comes with lower end SoC) > MIUI >> Samsung and Huawei

Then there's this high refresh rate screen, Razer and Asus ROG, which really makes a difference in scrolling smoothness.
Not so sure. The A2 I tested was quite jittery in scrolling. Maybe that phone has issue?

Pixel not necessarily the smoothest though biggrin.gif check out MKBHD video on the pixel and why he stopped using it. For some odd reason, the pixel started to slow down and it happened on a brand new pixel too.
But yeah generally, animation etc smoothness oneplus seems to be one of the best Android if not the best. Android One phones may be good but I'm sure they stutter too as they're on lower end hardware.
This pocophone should be better than any XiaoMi that isn't using the 845. 845 is a flagship and should perform better than even those on Android one.
Of course one way to reduce stutters etc is to just off all animations biggrin.gif

i can vouch for that. my pixel slowed down after long term usage. sold that for another phone.
