QUOTE(stij @ Dec 15 2018, 01:18 AM) Hi bro, I'm new on Android, mind to let me know what do you mean by the latest ROM? Is it the same like today's update? 10.1.3.0 The word latest here I mean was the beta roms, weekly builds. Those are by far the most up to date builds if compared to the stable ones which only gets released every few months.

Tried adb commands to disable wechat but to no avail it seems. Damn gotta dig deeper. Today's SOT is pretty bad 4 hours SOT with 11% left over the course of 21 hours. Is mine considered ok??? After waking up about 8 hours ago, my battery only reduced around 1%-5%. This post has been edited by Omochao: Dec 18 2018, 12:01 PM Attached thumbnail(s)

QUOTE(Someonesim @ Dec 26 2018, 10:19 AM) No issue GPS locking, but Waze randomly just wont get it. I can wait for few minutes, then open Google Map no issue display location and navigation. i'm on Eu rom build 8.12.13. And I heavily rely on waze most of the times, and yes, I do notice it, but I'll do a quick force quit and reload it back. Should be fine. I'm using Unifi mobile though.

Which rom are you using at the moment? EU or the global stable? Poco Launcher new update is still in beta. But if you guys wish to use can look for the APK in google. Am testing it out now. Love the double tap on screen to lock your phone which is a good additional feature. Save out on the power button. Eu rom is out with 8.12.27. If anyone of you is on this rom and having "Disconnected" problem when trying to launch the file manager. You can check this thread for a flashable zip by user JiDanXV. https://xiaomi.eu/community/threads/file-explorer-fc.48295/

QUOTE(Tokik Siwok @ Jan 1 2019, 09:43 PM) hi, thank you for the feedback.. so far the cheapest I saw is rm1299 for 128gb Red global ROM variant. Is this a good deal? I suggest you hold first, the prices are dropping every month it seems, coming this Jan/Feb, xiaomi might be announcing the successor to Poco F1. And when it releases, the price will even drop, maybe around 1k-1.2k. So it depends on whether are you patient to wait or not. If this phone is just for the sake of simple browsing or the usual communications, just wait for the price to drop even further.

QUOTE(azhar75 @ Jan 12 2019, 03:26 AM) 9.1 series is released.. [attachmentid=10158169] [attachmentid=10158170] Hide notch is available... [attachmentid=10158171] Hopefully the next round of stable will include everything newly added prior to this. Getting a bit of sick and tired of having to backup my apps and then re-installing everything back.

QUOTE(azhar75 @ Jan 12 2019, 09:51 AM) That's why I don't bother to use the official ROM from Poco/Xiaomi... It's official release is "half-baked"... So, might as well use the weekly ROM to enjoy new features every week... With XIAOMI.EU weekly ROM, we don't need to reinstall apps becoz the OTA is just like ordinary OTA procedures... Only clear cache partition is necessary if something is not right after each weekly OTA...However, so far, the EU weekly ROM for the F1 is reliable... I always do clean wipe before flashing. Dirty flash seems to get me some weird bugs.

"Hide notch" function is back in 9.1.10 roms, though I'm not using it but is good for those who doesn't wants to install any additional app just for the sake of that feature that was once present in Miui9.
So far so good rom. No major issues, seems like touch lag has been fixed for now.

QUOTE(Anime4000 @ Apr 5 2019, 12:24 AM) alternatively I can use GPS Lock and set Device Only. might change to 1+ I suggest you to unlock BL, and flash Xiaomi.EU firmwares to test out youe network GPS. Sometimes is due to Rom and service provider compatibility issues. It used to be for me when using official china roms I had issue with GPS locking. But after migrating to XIAOMI.EU, no more issues with this.

QUOTE(Wan @ Apr 11 2019, 08:25 PM) Wonder when they will let us have the A-GPS option back. One of the reasons why I hate Miui. Thinking of installing custom ROMs. Can recommend me a fairly stable one? Did you mean this?? If the answer is yes, I suggest you to give Xiaomi.EU roms a try. Most of the users here are all using it and have no issue so far. I'm running on weekly dev build 9.3.28. No major hiccups.

QUOTE(sazerx23 @ May 21 2019, 09:37 PM) A few users are complaining battery usage on 9.5.17 EU rom, even on the xiaomi eu forums. I'm still running on 9.5.9 build, I'll usually wait for a few days to pass first after the initial release to see feedbacks.

QUOTE(Aeonpatriot @ May 22 2019, 07:09 PM) It won't be rebranded into POCO F2, it will only remain as Redmi K20, i guess this is position to rival the newly launched One+7.

QUOTE(Someonesim @ May 22 2019, 09:22 PM) If realme X with SD8xx SOC and MIUI poco variation, and poco pricing, it'll almost instant buy for me Likewise.. I wont care who's the maker, as long fast charging, good decent camera, running on Android, good backup battery life and unlockable bootloader.
