Torrent completely unusable now?

Magnet link? Looks like DHT being block. I'm facing the same thing with a popular highly illegal torrent. Start another torrent like Ubuntu.iso or whatever. Hopefully someone else you connect to is downloading the same thing. Peer exchange will do its thing and connections will multiply like rabbits in no time.

hi, any sifu can comment for any tips or tweaking to be do for getting 500mbps?

im consistent 300mbps download and 100mbps upload with lan cable for Asus Ac86U router.

even wifi 5ghz also at 300mbps download and 100mbps upload. Hopefully its due to pilot phase and speed will gradually increase to 500mbps later on.

Now I feel a bit confuse. If I downgrade from 800 to 100, will they charge me RM200?
*
I asked the same thing, kind of since I haven't got my 800 yet, from 189 to 129. TM said if "out of contract" which I am even though I shouldn't be, no charge. If under contract, got charge. I didn't ask how much. Also contract will be renewed.

Lucky, I'm still paying 329 for 100mbps. Ask for a discount, they proudly refuse to give me. Plus, my contract ended.

Wa tm really stupid to block dht, only going to make all bandwidth go overseas and clogging up the international pipe even more lol

Indian isp the best, they run seedboxes to save on international bandwidth haha

Same here. Many websites in US slow. EU seems ok. China too, I guess, cause my wife is complaining her TV show stopped streaming.

Your TM point just like mine, they got it wrong,TM chat and FB chat confirm no such thing,as long u hv a HTB u will get yr exsisting pack on tv,u can add RM30 for Ultimate Pack if not you wll get the same as now and 600mins calls: Here,

Hi! Shah Ali. Sorry for the inconvenience caused. As per info was given by TMPoint, It's a wrong information. For the changer pack of unifi, No additional charge will be given as your contract will be refreshed to 24 months.
Regarding the upgrade, It can only be done at any nearest TMPoint. The additional for RM30 is for the consumer who subscribes ultimate pack only and not affected for those who subscribe normal pack.
Hi Shah Ali. Your router will be the same as usual. Any technical issue after the upgrade we will help you with the technical report ya

I hv to make another trip to argue with TM point to try and get it> I just dont know why they insists I wait for Turbo and get 300mbps,though I told them 100mbps is more then enough and I wanted the free calls offer
*
is that mean i can just buy a second hand top set box and set up by myself to watch the basic tv pack on big tv?

I also under-contract, but no charges at all.

Then you can opt for new 100Mbps BEST plan, with remain STB and STD20 at RM129, unless you demand for the 800Mbps turbo speed. brows.gif

@silentvampire i went through the guided router list. My RT-AC55UHP is listed as 300mbps ... but when i search online, it says it should support up to 800++ mbps . do you have any idea why? c

Yes, the listed 867Mbps is the max that you can achieve, in the most ideal conditions. In real-life, you have many overheads such as distance, device capabilities, interference, and so on. See here: https://www.duckware.com/tech/wifi-in-the-us.html. This link is also included on the 1st page. Hope that helps.

LAN is 1Gbps. If your max speed is only 280Mbps, try with a different RJ45 cable, preferably Cat 6. If it is still low, it could be that your connection is still pilot phase.

Would getting a Cat 6 cable helps if the connection from my BTU to router is still Cat 5e?

My BTU and router are situated at different floors, so the cable goes through the wall via wall socket (using CAT 5e), it would be near impossible to replace it, unless i shift the location of my router.

If I were to use Cat 6 cable for connection between router and devices, would it help in the speed? Or would the Cat 5e connection between BTU and router bottlenecks it so the Cat 6 cable is useless?

Please run the TM Speedtest (Web-Based) in Incognito mode.
And also run the speedtest (Ookla App) by selecting TM server.
So you can compare.
Doubt is that because of the Cache in Browser causing inaccurate result. smile.gif

did that too and got same result..IPV6 is also disabled and i tried google, cloud flare and open dns with no difference. Anyway I just advised him to ignore the "limited" speed since he has no problem with his 4K streaming.
