QUOTE(Prissy Elf @ Aug 16 2018, 03:35 PM) If my wireless router doesn't support 500mbps, will TM change it for free? Currently using D-Link DIR-850L router. No, they won't but DIR-850L will be able to support 500Mbps. OT for miloaisdino. You using DO right? Do you have a referral link? I'm setting up a few VPS there. Or anyone with a DO link, can PM me. QUOTE(Icehart @ Aug 16 2018, 04:26 PM) Do got free $100 credit. Just need to search more for it. Yeah, I know about that. It's actually 60 days free. So only free $100 credit if one is going for a $50/mth VPS or using all of it up for other stuff. If I use milo's referral link, he gets $25. Help him pay for his server cost since he's been very generous to make that site for us to check Unifi availability, etc... QUOTE(ksking @ Aug 16 2018, 04:21 PM) On LAN. Maybe even on wifi given the right conditions. This post has been edited by soonwai: Aug 16 2018, 05:11 PM

QUOTE(anfieldude @ Aug 16 2018, 04:25 PM) soonwai, On another note, ur old thread in RGX4400 initially identified the LAN as 100Mbps but there was a question whether it was gigabit LAN. I'm seeing a gigabit negotiation at least from my laptop. Did u ever get round to confirming that it's indeed gigabit LAN? Edit...I am not using the RGX4400 as a router but hv converted it as a switch as I got an Asus AC68U as my main router. I'm not 100% sure. t I've long suspected that it's gigabit even though the manual states that it's 100Mbps. I guess since you have it, you can confirm for us.

QUOTE(magnuscena @ Aug 25 2018, 05:49 PM) Hey guys, 100Mbps use here. I just found out that my speed is now 3Gbps?!! What the heck is Premium Personal? I thought 100Mbps suppose to get 800Mbps? Did they put the wrong plan for me or is the speed upgrade actually more? Youtube 4k does not even buffer it just feels like I'm playing it from my own PC. So. What’s your actual speedtest? Location please if you’ve already received turbo upgrade.

QUOTE(nevland @ Aug 27 2018, 08:27 PM) where to find that setting? It's in Advanced/System Parameters. QUOTE(JohnLai @ Aug 27 2018, 07:28 PM) Try to disable NAT Boost and report back what is the speed. I like to know too. Probably 70-80% routing speed drop. Below is for Mikrotik RB2011 with and without NAT Boost (Fasttrack).

QUOTE(miloaisdino @ Sep 5 2018, 10:12 PM) Haha just checked their packages api, down also.. Always up and down. You should do a cachet page for TM's services. Then we can check that to see if something is not right. You can call it progress, instead of things not working, we now have a proper maintenance page. QUOTE(miloaisdino @ Sep 5 2018, 11:42 PM) Dunno but display price stated as 129.. maybe they havent added the unifi tv rm30 into their itemised yet.. I asking tm live chat now Ok, reply from cs: -->"for the 100mbps package need to wait for announcement" "Any idea when is the anouncement tomorrow" -->"Tm did not give us exact time sir, so we dont know" Lol If really RM99 for 100Mbps, can seriously consider dumping RM189 800Mbps for the savings.

QUOTE(gokucorp @ Sep 7 2018, 08:09 AM) Is this real? How do you know? Because he's xefron. QUOTE(Xefron @ Sep 7 2018, 08:03 AM) ... unifi 100 Mbps (Free 600 minutes call + pick one RM30 unifi tv pack + no stb + playtv app) = RM 129 (online/reseller/TMPoint) ... unifi 100 Mbps (Free 600 minutes call + ultimate pack + with stb + playtv app) = RM 159 (reseller/TMPoint) ... Haiz, can't decide now. Change to: unifi 100 RM129 (save RM60/mth, RM720/yr but no ultimate pack*) unifi 100 Ultimate RM159 (save RM30/mth, RM360/yr) or stick with: unifi 800 Ultimate RM189 *I don't have Astro.

Called TM to ask about my remaining contract. I did the RM10 upgrade (100Mbps RYE 2017) on Dec 4, 2017. So should be 2 years contract from that date but today I was told that I'm out of contract. Very odd. I asked the CS to confirm twice.

QUOTE(youngy @ Sep 7 2018, 04:24 PM) There was no contract when upgraded from 50 to 100 by adding RM10. Ahh no wonder. That's good. Wait, you sure about that. I hope you are. https://www.lowyat.net/2017/148206/new-unif...-rm-10-upgrade/https://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopi...entry87059012

QUOTE(Doraku @ Sep 7 2018, 07:21 PM) Nope RJ45 is known as Keyed 8P8C, most people incorrect called 8P8C a RJ45 It's RJ45 because the person who decided to design the key into the "technically correct" RJ45 connector is an idiot. Keys are usually there for one purpose and the RJ45 key is redundant. 8P8C can also refer to other RJxx with 8Ps and 8Cs.

QUOTE(MGM @ Sep 7 2018, 08:58 PM) Someone mentioned few pages earlier that TM now allows subscriber to remove 1 of the 2 unifitv packs and a reduction of fees. Yeah, I've been following that too. Maybe stick to RM189 and try to get the reduction first. The weird thing is that I called TM and they said I'm out of contract. I remember RYE2017 RM10 100Mbps upgrade came with a 2yr renewal.
