QUOTE(SilentVampire @ Sep 15 2018, 10:16 PM) 9.9.9.9 is Quad9 DNS. It provides the same functions as OpenDNS. I see, thanks for updates. But TM and Google DNS still faster for me as I'm far away from Cyberjaya. Higher latency... QUOTE(klckm88 @ Sep 15 2018, 10:30 PM) My place indeed got TIME internet, jus my unifi still in contract, for 6 more months.if terminate now got penalty for the remaining months right? Better wait until end of year or your contract end, as TM will rebate price you overpaid for this year. Maybe got good news in this month for those couldn't turbo?

Hi guys, just got the turbo message yesterday and have a few questions.
1) The DIR 850L max speed is only 300 mbps right? My speed is the 500 mbps one, will tm replace the router or do I have to change it myself?
2) Despite saying 500 mbps, max speed i'm getting in wired and wireless is 100 mbps. Is this configuration problem or tm problem?
3) Got some phones in my house cannot get the 5 ghz channel. Could it be that the phone cannot pick up these channels? The phone also not too old.

All your questions are answered on the 1st page, 1st post, green text. The answer to your first question is no. They only support wired speed, not wireless. You have to replace the router yourself. QUOTE(MGM @ Sep 15 2018, 10:26 PM) missed the deadline by 1 day? but dateline stated there 31Decemeber2018. This was something like last year bonanza campaign, put promo end 31dec but 'tm reserves the right to cancel anytime'. They did the same thing this year. My agent told me like some morning they were just informed only that they have until 9am for last application, then tm cancel. Its probably because the demand was too good, and tm didnt want to lose money https://www.lowyat.net/2018/166531/streamyx...ps-rm100-8mbps/This post has been edited by miloaisdino: Sep 15 2018, 11:01 PM

Just tested in gigabit lan and still only 100 mbps. Shocked that phone from 4 years ago have AC but newer phone doesn't have it. Thx for the help.

I feel quite weird when people keep reporting C1200 & DLINK 850L cannot achive 800Mbps via cable while I’m not having that issue. It can’t be true that those routers are all faulty.

Equipment : Huawei HG8240W/ASUS AC-86U Here is the result, after asking for a cheeky upgrade . I did a speed test on different region. i.e Australia, LA, London. - The speed test cap for download at 130mbps++and UL at around 40-60mbps. Anyone facing the same issue as I. - Ping would be around 150-205 This post has been edited by newbienew: Sep 16 2018, 12:19 AM
