do we get new router / modem for users who were using 50MB during turbo upgrade? Cuz old router / modem don't support 100MB above.

So I got the email that i'm eligible for the upgrade.. From 30mbps to 300mbps.. Got phone call from tm for "free" upgrade to 50mbps but since I did not reveal my 4-last digit my ic, so the lady said cannot leyyy.. I was like okkk no problem punn haha..

But my current router tplink ac1200 can handle the speed upgrade of 300mbps?

Haven't tested the speed lol.. Always forgot..

This is what i get from TM live chat:

"There are customers who may require CPE change. Options given are as below:
i. Customer can purchase their own RG at any retail outlets
ii. Customer can self-collect their RG from selected TM Exchange. CPE is subject to CCP rule1
iii. Customer require truck roll from TM (subject to on site-support charges - RM50). CPE is subject to CCP rule1
1CPE Rule: Customer have an option either to pay for the CPE replacement or refresh their contract"

do you mean you still can choose to upgrade to 50mbps for the price of 179? then turbo upgrade it become 500mbps?
