boss. I little bit confused with the 30% withholding tax.

meaning the dividend we received, and reinvested amount we seen in our account is only 70% of the amount we supposed to have?
*
QUOTE(Krv23490 @ Jan 6 2019, 11:03 AM)
Yes sir

Then you will get back the some remainder like after the year ends like a previous member shared with us few pages ago.

If not mistaken.

Not sure whether remainder is after tax deduction ? Is there any tax deduction ?
*
Correct, you get 70% of bond interest first, next year they one shot claim back the other 30% withheld tax for you.

Yeah, thats why some like to look for those Irish domiciled funds ? i read before in some other thread.

If only Malaysia has more ETFs. Want to enter KLCI etf also must go US (local 1 by ambank quite low volume and correlation seems to be off abit )

Do you know any other platform with this much ease for 0.8% ?
*
You look at other robos in singapore, dont feel like we will have better access to intl market anytime soon.

Again I havent tried FSMone and other brokers out yet, how good is it?

hmm interesting, my 6.5% doesn't have that transaction.

Anyone else with a higher risk profile has this?
*
In SG stashaway, they target 1% in SGD, and target 0% in USD. Then every month, they deduct SGD for management fee.

They could be doing same thing in ur account, but I noticed they macam didn’t keep a separate MYR asset, so it may be a design flaw they need to account for.

A lot of us are using referral code, so we won’t be seeing management fee for 6 months.

then the next day i called them i need them unlock for me
i didnt aware this, they said they need ask me few question

then i replied: WHY? I ALREADY PASSED THE TEST

by then they skipped the questionaire and straight unlock for me

now only i know no need to do the test also can unlock, sad sweat.gif
*
BTW the test is required by MAS in Singapore when you want to trade those ETFs and leveraged stuff. Malaysia probably does not have similar requirements maybe?

My risk recommendation is 20%, but i still seem to be able to select the high risk section (i.e. 36%).

If you want to do it, do it.

Last time the max I can go is 45% bonds, then ppl complain stashaway too safe, they open up no bonds portfolio LOL.

Don’t pay too much attention to currency impact, the USD return is their real scorecard for their asset allocation strategy.

Wanna ask, the % in total returns, is it based on percentage since we started investing? Or refresh monthly? Just wanna clarify on this.
*
Monthly weighted - although exact formulae arent clear.

It’s refreshed daily.

No StashAway pays Saxo to execute the trades. They actually lose money from more active trading.

Hello, I'm new to SA, and I'm in the 36 club.
Planning to DCA 100 every month. What do we need to monitor? Abit hard to understand their platform tho Haha
*
DCA RM25 every Monday more syok. Other than that, not much to monitor, just make sure you pick the right risk level you can stomach then just put in consistently.

How does the promotion code work ah bro ? And where did you get they are encouraging it , I also want busybody biggrin.gif
*
It's obvious, their trading bot runs best when more money is in, so they can buy more whole shares and give everyone fractional shares. After that everyday you don't withdraw, they earn your manangement fees.

not sure how the thing work.

I suppose it's a one time use coupon.

thus if DCA 1000 per month, we save 24 myr for 3 month.

one coupon price at 3 myr.

if coupon can buy multiple time, then I think it's a good deal.

opinion guys.
*
No, stashaway prevalent management fee is 0.8% per year, you save RM2 for RM1000 investment if you have that investment value for 3 months.

To make it worth it, have at least RM1500 inside for all 3 months.
